Tom Felton became internationally famous for his role as the bleach-blond bad guy Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movie series. More than a decade after the premiere of the last film in the series, he and the other performers continue to cast a spell over fans around the world as an enduring pop culture phenomenon. Before his villainous turn at Hogwarts, he acted in such beloved films as The Borrowers and Anna and the King, and has followed up on his success in the wizarding world with roles in Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Belle, The Flash, and The Forgotten Battle, among many other film and television projects. This year he made his West End theater debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story. In Beyond the Wand, Felton reflects on the highs and lows of navigating fame at a young age, living as a normal teenager through it all, and the lasting friendships he enjoys with his Harry Potter co-stars.

If ever Sylvester Stallone brings his decades in creation script for "Poe" to the big screen, I believe that Mr. Felton would make an admirable choice to portray the iconic poet, writer, editor, and literary critic. He resembles Edgar A. Poe greatly.

Thank you Tom , for writing the book. It is so insightful and tender. Love the Potter stories, and more your story. When the books came out I could not understand the hype, until a client left book 3. Read it non stop and went to buy the first two. This summer I have watched all the films twice. And all the making’s off on you tube !! 😳 Wow, you kids were really amazing ! I listened to the book and loved that you read it yourself !! You must have made J.K. Rowling proud.

Какой же он искренний. Видно, что в некоторые моменты у Тома подступали слёзы. Эти моменты невероятно трогательные и задевают за живое внутри меня. Спасибо, Том, ты прекрасный!

Great chat! I grew up reading the books, same generation as Emma❤. I remember the call out for HP casting when I was in primary school 😅 I also have noticed the fanbases and love for Potter has grown exponentially, not receded over time. After the films finished, I haven't returned to the books or films. Want to savour them again once I do return, but noticed younger people getting into it. I love autobiographies and picked up Tom's memoir entirely on a whim last week. I'm so glad I did. Tom is a fantastic writer, a funny, deep, emphatic human being and I loved reading his stories, the highs and the lows. I'm glad he's with us and healthy. Tom, you are an utter sweetheart. Now thinking about it, seeing him as Malfoy is like having a placeholder transporting you back to childhood. Like going to see the Philosopher's Stone in Piccadilly Circus for the first time with my family. It was a big deal entering into the world that existed only in your head until then. Of course, Tom was perfectly cast and his turns on screen were a treat, the character you love to hate.💚
Everyone should go see his new play 'A Child of Science' in Bristol next year.❤
Now, I'm off to re-watch Chamber of Secrets 🐍😂

Is there a weird staticy feedback on this that distorts their voices?
Or is it just all 5 sets of my headphones?

I wondered the same. One hour of this, it's painful. Maybe he was tired or over-caffeinated or he just has a wandering attention in general. Or maybe he's high.

Sariss80, was he rude to you when you met him? I'd risk a guess and say that he wasn't. So then the question is why are you saying ugly things about a person who hasn't hurt you in any way and instead went out of his way to be nice to you? People like you swarmed the internet saying Chadwick Boseman was on drugs. Turned out he was battling cancer. Now you're here saying disgusting things about a person who hasn't done anything bad. I bet if we put you in front of a large audience you'll be nervous too. So he's nervous, big deal, he's human. Maybe learn to not treat others like crap.

Ms Miller - I di not engsge in fat shaming. I hear from your breathing as you speak that however the weight got there, it's causing you medical issues. I'm sure your knees agree. No joke Ms Miller. Please find a gentle healthy way to reclaim your body. Start with the Serenity Prayer. ❤ I wish you good health, but in the end, y'all gotta choose it yourself.
