    US INTRIGUES IN UKRAINE
(from an article by Australian journalist Caitlin Johnstone)
"The US Empire actively fomented a violent uprising in 2014, which overthrew the current government of Kiev and split the nation between a more loyal population to Moscow in the east and a more friendly US/EU in the western part of the country. This led to the annexation of Crimea (overwhelmingly supported by the people who live there) and eight years of brutal war against the Russian-backed population in the Donbas. It is known that Ukrainian attacks on these regions increased exponentially in the days leading up to the invasion, and it was claimed that this was what provoked Putin's final decision to launch a special military operation (which, according to American intelligence, was taken at the last minute).
Why did the Empire prefer provocations to peace? Congressman Adam Schiff gave a pretty good answer to this question in January 2020, when the road to war was being paved: "So that we could fight Russia there, and we didn't have to fight Russia here." If you reject the infantile idea that the US empire is helping its good friend Ukraine because it loves the Ukrainian people and wants them to have freedom and democracy, then it is not difficult to understand that the US unleashed a convenient proxy war because it was in their geostrategic interests, and because it not their lives and possessions will be wasted."

Zelenskyy is running out of cannon fodder. Western allies are running out of ammo . Zelenskyy offensive proved to be an epic unmitigated disaster. Russians rejected any freeze of the conflict. Putin spokesperson said quite bluntly that all Russian goals had to be met (denazification, demilitarization and a neutral status of Ukraine). At this point unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender.

The Russian plane that crashes was followed by a detailed news report from Russian media outlets minutes after it happened. This shows a pre-planned event to aviation specialists; it's impossible to know what happened in a crash like this until days after the crash.

Or maybe since it’s a war, they’re constantly monitoring everything. Such as said plane in their own radar, and a trailing plane that saw it all happened right in front of them and then turned around to land.

This is not stupid. Isolationism will not spare countries in this matter of Putin‘s plans.
There is more at stake from these first moves towards taking Ukraine. Dugin‘s 1997 book outlines how infiltration to insight race relations disturbance is the easiest way to destroy US civilisation. How to disrupt alliances around Southern Asia, plans to weaken the EU etc.
Regaining the influence of the disbanded Soviet block is the vital step and Putin wants Ukraine. Belarus already sings by Putin‘s songbook, and others halfway there.
He has befriended Russia with other despot run countries and all visibly successful democratically run countries are considered a risk to their authoritarian run regimes.

Democracies can be formidable allies once the population is invested in the battle, but when politicians think they can do what they want without getting the public behind them, suddenly a democracy can become an unreliable partner.
