Amen, you never lied. The first time I heard it the tears poured. It played the day my family member was murdered on Good Friday 2024. This song kept playing over and over in my mind. I have 3 versions of it and all 3 are Spiritually beautiful and heartwarming.

I hate to correct the Artist on such a beautiful song but this is Gospel Music Worshop of America's Mass Choir not Georgia Mass Choir. I think this year when it was recorded was in Atlanta.
The problem I have with this song is that don't sing the last verse. The last verse says but that is not how the story ends because three days later he rose again. Everybody wants to talk about jesus's death. But his death is irrelevant if you don't have a resurrection
