If I want to clean my car floor, can I use this as regular vacuum and use it on all the sand and dirt or not? Will it damage this machine if I do dry vacuum?

This is for cleaning stains, not for sweeping( Vacuum), but if you want it to clean stains on car upholstery, no problem

I find the hose is really short- does the spot clean pro have a hose extension or longer alternative hose I could swap out?

Hi there, we do not have an alternative hose for this machine. SpotClean Max has the longest hose out of our portable washers.

The Machine is moveable, take it with you around the house or car - the length of the Hose is not important …

@@chalon4230 it is- the options to clean my couch are to hold the machine in my hand (heavy and unwieldy), or place it (blowing warm air) on the couch itself.

Hi there, the stain trapper tool is best for those sticky & extra yucky messes. The mess will get sucked up straight into the tool rather than through the whole machine. Also means less cleaning. BONUS :)
