We are in Cincinnati, OH staying at the award wining boutique hotel The 21c Museum Hotel. As soon as you walk in, you do not feel like you are in a hotel lobby. It definitely gives more modern art museum vibes. The art museum is free to walk around and is open 24 hours daily for guests staying in boutique hotel. The hotel is recognizable by the giant yellow penguins. 21c Museum Hotels have multiple locations. Now 8 hotels later, each 21c has its own flock of Penguins - each in a color that embodies the singular identity of their city. The Penguins greet visitors throughout the hotel - in the lobby, elevators, restaurant, guest rooms, and often, where you least expect them. Cracking Art’s mission is to raise awareness of environmental issues and the use and misuse of natural resources by creating artworks using materials derived from petroleum products.

Metropole's Executive chef Zach Barnes takes a modern spin on classic French and Italian cooking. The rooms at 21c Museum Hotel are modern, playful with sleek design. The best part is the white tiled bathrooms. There are sporadic tiles of body parts all over the bathroom and in the shower. Created exclusively for 21c Cincinnati, our Body Part Tiles showcase the artisan craftsmanship of Rookwood Pottery. Available in nose, belly, ear, breast, and eye.
The 21c is also an incredible space for an event or a wedding. The art museum is a unique event space.

I love the penguins at each of these, but the art can be rather strange. I stayed at the one in Kansas City. A new one is supposed to open in St. Louis later this year and I’m hoping to stay there

I need to be cool like you guys with all these cool hotels. It was great seeing you guys during Spring Break. Thanks for making the time. The chefs knew what they were doing. Hidden tiles is pretty cool. Wonder how many have made out with the mouth tile in the shower.
