Hello dear, I have a question for you. My friend plays the saxophone, and he's encountering issues with dotted crochet, dotted minim, and minim notes. He's aware of the counting for all these notes, but whenever he plays (even simple music with these notes), he gets confused, wondering if he's playing the correct counting. In other words, he sometimes plays the correct counting simultaneously with the incorrect counting. For example: 1&2& for dotted crochet, or 1&2& for dotted minim, or 1&2&3& for minim notes (sometime he play the same notes correct). How can he understand and correct this dilemma? Are there any videos, books, techniques, or anything else that can help? Could you please help? 😇

Where do I place my fingers on the left hand?
In this example Vivien is playing open G, open D and first finger A (B).
