You know a real prelude connoisseur when he says thank god it's a base and not an SH lol, most people would think the SH is the better model like the SI or Type R but not when it comes the the 5th gen prelude! Also the F20b doesn't get enough Love 🤘🏼
El prelude type sh tiene mas valor que un SI dependiendo donde vivas aca en todo chile mas de 10 preludes type sh no hay y son muchos mas caros por su escases te lo digo porque quiero uno y tengo la plata para un SI o un type R pero hombree!! Que basico se ven en todos lados aca todos tienen jaja saludos bro solo te digo que depende donde vivas se vera el valor del vehiculo, aparte el type Sh tiene sistema Atts microdireccion en las 4 ruedas, modo cruzero cosas muy avanzadas a su epoca.. un verdadero deportivo

Heck yeah 5th gen is what I have 2000 base model 5spd just got it running again after 2½ 3,years but now it has hella piston slap so I don't know whether I want to sell it or let it set another I don't know how long until I get the money to fix it. I don't know I bought two cursed cars the prelude curse and the BMW E46 curse. Lmfao 😆😭

I put a f20b in my 5th gen aswell. I had the ap1 cluster, s2k steering wheel and the tan s2k seats. It was a beautiful car

Is swapping a SH prelude the same process as doing the base model? or what is the difference that needs to be done
Swapping and sh with another sh motor is pretty straight forward but to go from sh to a base model has a few things that you need to do.
@@treybedipping1734well i want to base swap my SH and everyone saying that the SH axels will work but some others say that you need to use base axels and shafts what should I do?
@asianv3 you can't use sh axles you'll need base trans, axels, and half shaft and I think you'll need the base knuckle spindles too. Not 100% on the spindles but def all the other stuff

Hey trey doing a f20 swap lil old of a vid but I’m doing a h22a4 swap to f20b jdm do I need anything like any riye wire things head I had to get a cps conversion

Everything you need you should be able to pull from the old motor.

Hey man I have a 1994 prelude si and swapped it with an f20b and I’m using the bb1 p13 ecu but I’m using the none vetch engine harness I wonder how can I add vetch cause I have f20b harness but it’s cut in half
Run a wire directly from the ECU

hey so i got a prelude recently and it has an h22a installed but the engine is done for, i wanted to get another engine for it. would you recommend the f20b for me to get?
If you can find a decent used one sure. But with the price of motors now a days it makes more sense to just rebuild the one you have.

Ouuu sh motor are super hard to find. You may have to rebuild the one you have or convert to a base h22
and get a base Transmission as well, since the SH will not bolt on to a base h22 or f20b@@treybedipping1734
