This channel has been very helpful to this newer Kubota jockey. Specifically the hydro service vid. When I did mine in the heat with the oil warm and thin. I had to keep topping it off for 2 or 3 days and purging the air.

Doesn’t 20w50 cover a wider temp range? And why not use it?
Not necessarily wider, 20 w50 is not as good for cold weather as the 10w40 but it will with stand higher temps like 90+
