When i watched the last week's episode with their segment it gave me flashbacks of being a caregiver to elderly people. He is in search for a caregiver who will also sleep with him.
I used to work in a hospital and in nursing homes, met alot of men like this. They want you to take them home amd take care of them, dedicate your life to them. Its crazy. She needs someone to help her, not someone to take care of.
What gets me is that says not ashamed of past, yet waited years to tell her. Then gets upset. The past is the past, but that's stuff you talk about before you get all super serious.

As a recovering addict myself I must disagree with you. Getting clean over 3 yrs ago was one of hardest things I've ever accomplished and in doing so I'll be damned if I go back to what almost killed me. People have a past. In Brian case the lifestyle caused him more health problems than it does most. But that was several years ago. If he hasn't relapsed yet I really believe he won't. It's always possible just like it's possible she can turn to drugs and alcohol at some point in her life. Everyone deserves a second and third chance at redeeming themselves.

He was a dealer .I have worked with many dealers, some were addicts, some were not, I facilitated addiction programs and worked in prison with those that got caught drug trafficking. I have noticed a pattern of anti-social behaviors with dealers and addicts...This for me has nothing to do with 2nd and or 3 chances For me this is about presenting facts from my experience. Your experience differs....that is ok. I wasn't talking about addiction but the selling of drugs, now that you brought addiction in, I have an opinion about that too--presenting with facts based on my experience. Congratulations on being clean. I have also witnessed recidivism with reoccurrence of addiction. My experience witnessed those that work programs and are committed to sobriety are those that remain clean...Lots of repeat offenders but then again I did not work with those that were clean.

Not at all. I know ppl been on hard drugs over 20yrs and been clean for 20yrs. I'm one of them. I used from age 16 to 36. I'm now 44 and still clean and the last 2yrs of my life ben the hardest so if ever there was a time an addict would give into temptation it'd be then but I wasn't ever tempted one bit. I've a hatred for the stuff and learned my lesson. So u know nothing. Not all ppl are the same. There are many ppl who change aswell as don't change.

IHe's the type to warm up to your family and friends all while digging for any dirt, only to turn around later saying she is abusing or hitting him. His backstory, well…that was his mistake not telling her earlier. We’ll see how this story plays out over the remaining weeks.
And that's the issue...as the paralyzed person ages, they get tired of the naivety of people thinking it's only the legs that don't work. But Brian doesn't have the right to dump it all at once. For him it's facts of his life, and showing it first is a defense against her rejection when it all occurs to her in time. It's a tough balance.
