It's pretty common knowledge that in the 90's when independent correction facilities were being bought by the rich, they only pushed/promoted violent music. That was when "gangsta" rap got huge. They wanted to indoctrinate the black youth as teenagers to want to be like their music idols. Make them think that lifestyle was not only cool but would get them money, when in fact it just filled jails. Until now when you can release yourself on social media outlets, only that type of music was "allowed" to be produced. We are living in a generation of adults who grew up in that and raised their kids under this mindset. It is just now breaking as we can all see. There has been a black person in every job you can be in America, even president, so your not held down your just not given a free hand out.
