It's so genuine and lovely. God bless you John and your family. Your testimony is simple and effective. If you look at history, you have to be a Catholic.

Beautiful testimony of this our brother, especially his final message: we have to be like Saint Joseph, defenders and witnesses of Life.
Thank you very much and may God bless you both, your families, and all of us who follow Journey Home 🙏

Sometimes my surrender feels like I’m giving up, throwing in the towel from just pure weakness and sense of failure. As it happens again and again I am starting to just trust that I have not been abandoned - that I just need to hold on and things will make sense about why I am going through it. God puts meaning in the madness. But it sure isn’t fun. Yes, faithfulness ends up being worth it but it doesn’t get easier. ✝️🙏❤️

If you need inspiration..take Scott Hann..he went all the way in academics trying to destroy Catholic Church.even wrote many anti-Catholic books..but when he found out that The Truth and the Church that Jesus built is in the Catholic Church..he has to give up everything..quit his job and source of income..he has to give up and abandon his ministry all the people he care about..he has to endure all his family going mad at him because of his convertion to Catholic Church..its like he found the rich treasure in the field but he need to sell all his livelihood became poor..but God provides and he cried tears of joy everyday because the more he learn about the Beauty of Catholic faith..the more joy keeps filling his heart..

If only my children knows how much i love them. They would cry tears of joy---Mama Mary said in one of her Apparition..if you have sufferings and pain..say 1 Hail Mary prayer until it became 150 Hail Mary and taste the cry of joy...

Being a former southern Baptist I’ve come to learn that being a deacon in most Protestant churches is just a glorified usher. When I learned what it takes to be a deacon in the Catholic Church it shocked me

People who wander from the Baptist Church to Anglicanism mostly swim the Tiber. Wherever you are, ensure you know Jesus and I hope your new home gives you peace.

Jesus said" birds have nests, foxes have holes, son of man has no place to lay his head" no synagogue would accept him, thats the price his true followers expect.

Interesting story. One thought. Anglican married 'priests' who convert, can become Catholic priests. So it would seem John Bacon could become a Catholic priest. I think there might be a stipulation for it though, that he promise to have marital relations no more.

My "favourite" part is when he is like, "Yeah, my wife prayed for us to get money and the Anglicans gave us money, which means we need to abandon those Anglicans I was shepherding and become Romanists." Really classy.

Because all of Jesus disciples were the most classy people. 🤭 This is only a tiny tiny bit of a wonderful story with the Lord leading and providing. Hope you have your own story one day!

@@LaurenBacon-lz8ue I do have my own story. I became Catholic (Anglo-Catholic) in 2013. I'm never going to be under the tyranny of the Pachamama worshiper who promotes sodomy; the one you call Pope Francis. To be deep in history is to cease to be Papist.
