I honestly felt bad for him. Sure I was a upset that he left, but soon I realized the rut the club was in. There was no way in hell he was gonna win anything with us anytime soon and he already spent years with us with nothing to show for. Also I saw the documentary later and realized the owners at the time really pushed the move and kinda used him as a scapegoat. Still makes me sad how it all ended, and genuinely glad that he won something. If Suarez was the hottest girl you ever met, Torres was your first love in highschool.

Simiar situation with sturridge and michael own. those players who's game relies on pace suddenly look average when they start to slow down
