  • The Cirrus G2+ Arrivee package is what happens when a jet has a baby with a Lamborghini! The G2 is one of the craziest private jets you can buy! It's built of carbon fiber and has an absolutely insane paint job. What does this $3,500,000 include? For starters it has an insane interior that looks a lot like the Lamborghini Urus's interior. The rear entertainment includes a 21 inch flip down TV and wifi. At over 350 mph the G2 Vision Jet is a beast in the skies! This is the ultimate small jet!

    Billionaires and ultra millionaires don’t buy these things. Someone who has like 1million coming each year to his pocket thinks of buying this thing and for such person this 150k is a heavy bill to pay.

    I love watching non-pilots get geeked out about airplanes. They really think your gonna swipe your card and fly for 600 bucks an hour. Reality is… if you have to worry about an hourly maint/fuel cost, you aren’t buying a jet. If you blow a tire landing on a crappy runway it’s gonna cost you 5 grand. Money better be no object.

      It cost about $700 an hour over the life of the airplane. Including fuel. The real cost is closer to $500 an hour with the spreadsheet, showing the maintenance, annuals, overhauls, etc, and the other $200 per hour is set aside for incidental stuff like a popped tire etc.

Only people who know nothing about aviation do not understand that a parachute in such type of an aircraft is 95% just marketing. The second engine trumps at least a dozen parachutes.

    It's still slow.... I'd rather a TBM or PC-12.... You know it is slow when it says at 1:45 it's speed in MPH. 350 MPH equals 300kts..... Then he compare to a CITATION or Slow-Tation. which is the slow end of Jets and says it does 405kts? Ha ha that is 100kts faster than the Cirrus.... Please. I would rather a 290 kt Single Engine Turbo prop PC-12 with massive cabin and cargo volume burning EVEN LESS fuel and only 10 kts slower.... You can buy a used TBM700 (287kt cruise/331mph) for under $1M... 3.5 times cheaper..... and no sending money to WILLIAMS every hour. A full PT6 overhaul FLAT RATE is under $400K. I don't know if it's offered with this package there is an executive layout with four seats facing each other. Much easier to get in and out. That 1400 lb payload capacity is just too low though. With four or five adults and just carryon stuff you're going to be down to about a 600 mile range because you can't fill the tanks.

    • @mustardseedsociety
      @mustardseedsociety 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If the term is used correctly, useful load is payload plus fuel. "Payload" is exactly what the term implies - baggage and people. So the question now is, is the 1400 pounds payload or useful load ?? If it's "payload", then that's not too bad - you'd have to find out what your zero fuel weight limit is. If the 1400 pounds is useful load, then yes that would be very poor.

    • @nycchris8743
      @nycchris8743 ปีที่แล้ว

      Unless I miscalculated, it's about 450 lbs.
      6000 lb MTOW
      2000 lb max fuel load
      3550 lb empty weight,
      These are according to Cirrus, which means that these are the best numbers that they could get, so the payload is probably even lower in real life.
      3.5 million bucks for a 450 lb payload? Not too impressive, is it?😢

    Wow, $340/hour maintenance and that's it?! Cirrus really done a good job on that idea. First time I have heard of that. That's honestly pretty dang on amazing. Does that include if something actually breaks, or just the maintenance schedule? If that's also like a warranty for things breaking, that is like gold. First time I've heard of a maintenance thing like that, and it sounds pretty good.

    this color scheme and interior upgrade is nice and it'll probably increase sales by a little bit, but no supper rich guy want to fly around in a sardine can with a nice interior, no matter how safe it is , but those safety features will be the #1 selling point as soon as Cirrus figures out how to put in a lavatory, and extends the interior height so passengers with back pain don't have to be on pain killers cause every time they move around they are bent over like your in a hobbit house, and extends the range to fly from NYC to Los Angeles non stop, if they can fix these issues it will probably become the number one selling private plane if not only in America probably the world, just that parachute feature will make the plane sell like hot cakes, they probably won't be able to keep up with the orders, but those are the only flaws that i see, cause Diarrhea at 30,000 feet ain't funny :)
