With my bong pipe in hand, I cautiously took a hit.
Almost instantly, I felt overwhelming happiness wash over me, causing me to burst into uncontrollable laughter. It was as if an invisible force was pulling me downwards, guiding me to lay on my bed. The sheer euphoria flowing through my veins made it nearly impossible to stop laughing. But after a mere minute or two, the intense laughter subsided, and I decided to take another hit.
And that's where things took a mind-boggling turn.
In an instant, it felt as though I was transcending this reality, leaving everything familiar behind. My surroundings transformed into a colossal wheel, embellished with vibrant patterns reminiscent of an Alex Grey painting. I was not merely an observer, but an integral part of this mesmerizing wheel. As if guided by some invisible hand, the top of my bedroom wall started to open, just like the unzipping of a jacket. Through this opening, I could catch glimpses of the intricate wheel universe in which I found myself.
My room, no longer confined by its physical boundaries, became part of this immense, cosmic wheel. It stretched onward into infinity, defying any sense of restriction or normalcy. As I continued to explorethis wheel reminded me to , a to the movie "Inception" but with alex grey textures it began to wash over me, as if reality itself was unraveling, revealing layers upon layers of existence. Doubts began to creep in, and I turned to my brother, desperately seeking confirmation of reality. "Are you real?" I implored, my voice filled with a mixture of awe and uncertainty. Yet, he remained silent, his response lost within the infinite folds of the mesmerizing wheel that enveloped us. Unfazed, I decided to stand up and explore this vibrant and ever-unfolding realm.
Eventually, I returned to my physical form, though left with an indescribably strange sensation. Salvia had granted me an opportunity to delve into a world so radically different from anything I had ever experienced before. It was a journey that blazed a trail through the fabric of reality, leaving me with a newfound sense of wonder and craving for further exploration.

This was incredibly deep. Really pushing the archetype interpretation of these recurring themes has the potential to make the experience more meaningful and revelatory and less chaotic and arbitrary.

"If the hallucinations of salvia truly were just our imagination, the why so many common themes between its users?" Yea..another common theme between them also seems to be that they are the same species, with the same brain anatomy, in which salvia binds and stimulates the same receptors in very similar ways lol jk
But I do agree with the notion that the representations are more symbolic, like the brain is trying to convey meaning to itself through symbolism.
Though I always find my recollections of trips to be more artificial, like my memory lacks the reference to convey it accurately, so it shifts to the closest thing in my repertoire while, in the original experience, the forms always feel more organic at the moment.
    Really nice video, very well-researched!

You're so real for this. It's a very interesting video but I couldn't stop screaming at the screen that it's just a chemical reaction lol. I don't doubt it can reveal things about yourself but any reading that's not ultimately constrained to your own psyche is nonsense tbh
You don't see this stuff with other drugs. Alcohol tends to cause a very similar range of experiences among its users, but no one's going "OoH tHe SpIrIt Of AlCoHoL iS tRyInG tO cOnVeY tRuThS aBoUt ThE uNiVeRsE uPoN uS". Cause it's a chemical reaction. I suppose the relative complexity of psychedelic experiences, combined with the fact that they tend to instill a feeling of "revelation", makes this a harder pill to swallow than with other drugs. But I really wish people could just be normal about them lmao

@mindy1609 consciousness is just a chemical reaction. Now think what it means for that chemical reaction to be aware of itself. And now think how both salvia and humans share some basic chemical elements like Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen and when mixed it has this wild and *recurring* effects on human consciousness. How can any of this be "just a chemical reaction" ?

super interesting video! i came to the same conclusion about her display of power. i think it is meant to teach those who burn her or take salvia without the knowledge of her existence whatsoever that you shouldnt mess with salvia. there are ceremonial approaches that have provided good results if you want to meet her such as chewing the leaf in a dark setting with offerings laid out upon an altar. she is timid but she is willing to meet those who are righteous and respectful enough. idk how much you know about the other entities and their messages/lessons but from what i’ve heard, lady salvia tells you things about the future, and can answer you many different types of questions. people who have met her have said that she asks what you want to know and you can ask her things instead of how some other entities operate (just teaching you a lesson without attempting communication)

I experienced a trickster figure who tossed me an object. I think it was a crayon and the second I caught it, my entire world/reality began to disintegrate from the outer edges. I felt terrified and worried because I didn't know what to do or how to run away from it. It was like a problem that had no solution and there was no hope for salvation. It was just folding my reality away like a blanket. It was very intense and uncomfortable.

The fricking zipper heads. They have left such a clear impression in my head it's incredible. In some of my experiences I found myself in this row of some sort of people that had all their mouths connected by this zipper. There was a hammer that hit it and it went flying off in the distance opening one of the people's mouth by unzipping their teeth. Then the zipper would come back to the edge where it connected to another person and the hammer would hit and start the whole thing again. I felt like I was each person individually but I was going with the zipper. In the sense that the zipper didn't pass from me, I was following it through the people's bodies but I was not it. Everytime the hammer hit I'd feel the zipper go from left to right, extending my mouth way forward as it opened it, in this space that seemed to be like a bubble inside my head. The most interesting thing for me is that this all was moving very rhythmically, it felt like there were some parts that moved polymetrically in relation to each other, which blew my mind completely, but in general I'd say this whole teeth unzipping thing is pretty weird on its own haha. I have interpreted this as some sort of metaphor for our situation as humans or more likely animals in general.

    Crazy zipper circus machine realm.
Salvia has shown infinite power, the inner workings of chaos and entropy. Psychological prowess beyond imagination. Etc.
Though.. The REALEST piece of salvia I ever saw, was just this beautiful, distant, glowing morpho blue light. It was just suspended in raw darkness. It was so peaceful compared to.. itself. This was so far from the chaos, it was so still. There was so much beyond this sight, so much feeling to it. an Immense connection to profound loneliness.
Salvia is a seriously underrated entheogen. Hidden beneath the utter power for terror, lies a vast realm filled with profound knowledge and insight..
on another note, IMO its one of the most convincing plants speaking out for plant consciousness.

I saw the Shepherdess Herself on my very first salvia experience (Salvia 5X) on June 5th, 2013. She was very beautiful and gave me unconditional love. She was translucent in the night sky with stars all around her. Her face appeared like gems. She was Majestic like some ancient celestial Queen. I actually believe that she is the Divine Mother, or Gaia, or Durga, Herself in one of her incarnations. She came up to me cheek to cheek. She was profoundly loving and universally beautiful. The key I think to gaining her darshan is that prior to my salvia experience I abstained from sex for 3 days. I chanted mantras, I recited the holy rosary for 3 days and watched catholic masses on TV. I think the key is to purify our consciousness and then she will give us her presence. Perhaps something to keep in mind.

The very last person in on the joke is you.
Somehow every one of us is the single individual who, unlike everyone else, has been living their life oblivious to the joke or it being played on them. Since that makes no sense, what I suspect is something along these lines: while we're here, none of us are in on the joke, and the reason why in salvia space we get the impression that everyone has always been aware of the joke is that in salvia space, everyone from here is already there having lived this life, yet _we_ haven't finished living it yet even though in salvia world we can somehow contact the selves we become when we finish this life.

I shot up and could see down into the room and see myself and my friend. It felt like I was a giant looking down into a dresser drawer, inside of which was the room. Similar to how rooms look in a house in FF7. It wasn't unpleasant but my friend who did it had a horrific experience of becoming part of the wall and losing his ability to process time. He told me it broke his heart because he was convinced he'd be stuck that way forever and that he would never be able to explain to his loved ones what happened to the boy they knew.

One of my most pleasant trips went like this: I was suddenly ripped out of my room and was flying over these beautiful green rolling hills emerging out of nothing and were fractal like where on every hilltop a stone castle would grow out of the ground. Not only was I flying over these fractal hills but my body WAS the hills. Like my upper body was stretching above and flying parallel to the hills and my lower body was stretching on the ground AS the hills. Really wish I could explain this better. It was beautiful. I took salvia once, 15 years ago. I experienced the carpet rolling/steamroller effect, it felt like the whole room was tapering on the left side and rolling me up feet first and I couldn't do anything about it. The TV was on and there were cartoons playing, and it felt like the characters were chanting to the music enticing me to go deeper into the rolled up carpet and almost making fun of me as I couldn't escape it and 'telling' me that this was it from now on. This would be my existence forever in this messed up dimension. As I started to come round, I was questioning reality and my own sanity, it was so confusing. Although it was so long ago, I remember the trip very vividly and will never forget it. I was glad I experienced it, but wouldn't want to do it again.

I was watching family guy and Peter was on some yellow brick road, all of my reality became a hilly yellow brick road that was rolling up and the salvia people convinced me that once again I messed up and wasn’t supposed to be there and now I’d always be there. Thank you for such a beautiful well done video. I love when people take the time and share what they love with this kind of quality. I have been watching some videos about salvia and this has been the best one yet, just the type of video I was looking for... I just smoked Salvia 200x with a friend a couple of days ago.. it was extreme, but I felt I could control myself pretty well, I somehow managed to be conscious that I was just on a salvia trip experimenting it, never controlling the trip.. it started with me projecting from my head into the top of my room and feeling myself divide in two halfs, but I was still in the center as well, I could feel the vibration of everything and felt like my skin was being stretched, my friends had big eyes and I could somehow sense how they were feeling... I defenitely experienced the "Gesture archetype", and some of the others as well, but it was a very concious healing and learning trip.

These universal patterns of idea structure connected to universal human situations and personalities or characters express themselves in incredible ways--the question that I want answered is whether symbolic representations of innate ideas necessarily have our intentions and personal growth in mind--or whether these realms, though fascinating and bewildering, actually have mind-fuckery and disossiative techniques..

Thank you so much for this enlighting lessons about the mystery Salvia Divinorum. We call mysteries all the cosmologic functions that are beyond human comprehension. This comprehension can only be attained through feeling; if you feel what the other person is feeling you become that person. But there is a problem, feelings transcend time and time is necessary for us to base our Reasoning.

First time i smoked salvia it was a 15x. I was all alone, listening to a Ganesha prayer, and as long as i heared the Om I felt a zipper was closing my back and my front body, starting in my right ankle, going up to my head, and then down to my left ankle. When it finished, another song started (Eleusis, from psychic TV) and i got realy scared. I thought i was dead. I was thinking very sadly that my wife was going to find me dead in the living room. Then I came back like "WTF, that was awesome!" I think that day i started to lose my very old fear of death. I guess I was very lucky, because i had a lit candle right between my legs. Sometimes I think maybe I died, and all this is just a second chance to do things right.

Salvia truly is incredible I over did it the beginning of last year probably going in there around 40 to 50 times and it left me very different weed and other psychedelics now have a salvia tone to them which I really enjoy. One time when I was sober I was unzipped and thrown into salvia land about a month after I have it a break it really changes everything I love it

Hi there! You ask a question at @22.00 : Answer may be that our fatasy comes from the same "place" and since the salvia is one compound/plant and since we are all humans (same spicies). Human Vs Salvia = very simular for all Humans. My point is only that since we are "all the same" Humans.. And since the plant has the same compounds in it, it will provide the same or simmular exsperiance to all humans. No?

Amazing videos. I'm in the process of preparing for my first Salvia experience and your channel has really piequed my interest. I've had a very close relationship with mushrooms (was living in a country where they were legal at the time) which I firmly believe do have their own agenda. There's wisdom there but also darkness, and quite a lot of mischief. I've dabbled in other substances but non has had the depth and beauty I found in psilocybin. This all sounds like Salvia could have a similar impact on me - if it let's me into its world, that is. Looking forward to this experience and I feel like your videos really helped me prepare myself, at least in so far as it's possible to be prepared for a different reality.

As soon as it hit me, I saw my face directly in front of me mounted on a garage door and then what was revealed to me was that everything and everyone was comprised of this mirror material. Think Terminator II with that liquid metal baddie.

The first several times I went to Salvialand, I found myself in what looked like a painting by Grant Wood - an undulating bright, almost cartoon-like, landscape. It was later that I realized the scene to be like the scarecrow scene from the wizard of OZ (minus the scarecrow). To my right there was half a room and in one case half of a bus interior with two beings who I couldn’t see but could hear. They definitely wanted me there and wanted me to lay back and relax and fall deeper into - something. A part of me resisted and they were clearly disappointed that I wasn’t willing to fall down to some other level. After failing to get my cooperation, they were no longer even present in future trips.

Dime K. Thank you! I've heard that by smoking the dry leaves you can ease and merge into it more easily but I've never done myself. You also would need to vapourize a lot leaves to do this. I would imagine that method would be less panic inducing than going all in, like you have to do with DMT.

Great job w this vid brother. I would very much like to share a couple of the experiences of which i have a decent narrative grasp with you sometime. Ive been fascinated w and enamored of the archetypal themes shared in common btwn sal trippers since I started hearing them ~15 yrs ago. Such a bizarre characteristic and endlessly ponderable concept!
To this day I will daydream and relive my trips w Sal ( aka Sally Field aka The Best Actress aka The Feminine Android shepherdess), examining each memorable scene and aspect with rapt attention to detail as best i can....and its still just bizarre, alien but possibly only due to the drastic perspective change. I always felt like Sal affected me in a unique way, different than any other substance, and only recently did I learn of its separate non alkaloid classification. Makes a ton of sense.

Correction, when you compared an alkaloid to the molecule being an agonist to the kappa opioid receptor, those are completely separate. Salvinorin is a terpenoid (specifically a diterpenoid), so is THC. The fact that it binds to the kappa opioid receptors do not really have anything to do with it not being an alkaloid.

  • @wilcoxandrew88
    @wilcoxandrew88 ปีที่แล้ว

Great breakdown of the salvia experience.
I've never experienced the zipper, but I've experienced the "steamroller". I felt like a flat poster tacked to a wall. (This also ties in with becoming another object or cementing). I couldn't move and was held there (or pinned) by the tack.
Near the end of my trip I felt like I was running on a treadmill that just rolled up into infinity behind me as it passed.
I may have also experienced the Jester. Where the window once was was now an orange-red machine with a huge uncanny smile. It was watching me and felt like it was guiding the trip. It wasn't malevolent, but not good either. It's almost like I could feel it's intentions.
A friend experiences himself in a book. He said the walls of the place where he was was like pages of a book coming down on him, like when you flip through a book.
I infer two things from this: either salvia has some power to produce these sorts of experiences (it has some sort of will to do so), or or mind is influenced by the chemicals which works by activating the parts of the brain that produces these similar effects. E.g., it activates the parts of the brain that makes us experience spirals or zippers.

Can attest to the wheel... it felt like I was inside this toroidal scaffolding made of beehives and inside each beehive was the room I was in and another one of myself repeated to infinity and we were all integral to this toroidal spinning reality. Everyone had to do their part whether they liked it or not.

Highly recommend you check out 'leicafrog' talking about S.Divinorum ( He hasn't posted anything in about 10 yrs ) But what fascinates us about it is of course everybody reports the same thing/s or at least similar in their perception. So what then about the brain *speculated to be the claustrum via kappa opioid activation or whatever* is this collective theme of carnival ,train tracks, industrial objects and others supposed to be xD Even though we are all different ? Different upbringings different brain chemistry different all round yet these similarities emerge person to person
