i'm looking to do this too - what was your method for parting off those very thin spacers? I think I can probably get away with some larger increments, probably in the 1/8" range, but not sure of my ability to part them off and keep them parallel on both sides when the inveitable parting off burs appear.
Hi! I made those shims with parting tool in a lathe. But you could also buy "thin plate sheet" from Ebay and if it's thin enough, you could cut that with plain scissors. And grinding on magnetic table is one option.
