Well, we was given Orchid this year and it bloomed for more than two month. During this period it was watered only once by dipping the pot into water for about 3 minutes and then let the water drip from the pot.

Thank you. I just opened my TH-cam app and there your video was! I just received an orchid as a gift and I heard they can be fussy but I didn't know what about. I just looked at my orchid and realized it's in a ceramic pot in a clear container! And it's roots were pale, even though I watered it a few days ago! Probably didn't water enough. Thank you!

Bir kovaya su dolduruyorum, orkidelerimin saksısını köküne kadar (yapraklar hariç) suya batırıyorum ve baloncuk çıkmayana kadar suda bekletiyorum ve sudan cikartip iyicene süzdüryorum ve özel Orkide seramik saksisina geri koyuyorum . Bu sekilde ne fazla ve nede az sulanmis oluyor.
Bunu bana almanyada bir bahcivan ögretti :)

Interesting info on orchids! I’ve had an orchid for about 10 years,it’s loaded with flowers and buds! I’ve tried something new,I added miracle grow to the wood chips that are for orchids and she’s blooming so much growing new roots,it’s gorgeous!!!

I started using the immersion method. I felt like the roots up top weren’t getting enough water if I didn’t use a tall enough pot. My roots look good my Erika roots are dried and have some black spots. Plus I hardly water them, they still do well but I’m thinking I should water them more.

i bought a few orchids, one is normal size and the other one is just a baby orchid, i do not know much about orchids but it seems they require special attention and care. i love plants in general, my flowers are happy, although when it comes about exotic flowers and plants i still have much to learn, so

Respetuosamente le hago la siguiente corrección: tengo orquídeas phanerosis hace 10 años y las riego totalmente, agua en tallo, hojas y raíces, nunca las seco, pero la clave está en que reciben diariamente corriente de aire de la misma forma como si estuvieran en la naturaleza. Allí reciben el agua y el aire y su desarrollo es perfecto el problema se presenta cuando no hay corriente de aire.

Personnellement cela fait des années j'ai enlevé Les Orchidées de la terre j'ai bien nettoyer la racine et je les mets dans l'eau elles fleurissent dans l'eau je laisse 3,4 cm les feuilles hors de l'eau de temps en temps je change l'eau que je remplace par de l'eau minérale les orchidées elle aime bien le froid de temps en temps lorsqu'il fait froid je les laisse de 1 à 2h dehors surtout pas quand il gèle !
