Chris.... Look up Mark Cuban's new drug company..... He shows how the drug company is full of greed. He's actually showing what the costs are and then adds 15% for his profit... And that pricing is so much less then any other drug company.

I get trying to put a set price on things but it will also contribute to greed of the public if they were cheap. They won’t look at it as let me not take ozempic for weight loss because people need their insulin. They don’t care now and they won’t care if there’s limited supply. So if they raise the price to try to steer away people using it for recreational use there’s good and bad to it which is unfortunate but what can they do. It’s just another take on the situation

Question? She is talking about low income/poor people her words. If they qualify for medicaid doesn't it cover all medications. I have also heard insurance be scamming folks. It can be cheaper OTC than your copay but they don't want people to know.

I have so many comments about this podcast. I’ll start with these: 1. What’s scary about Chris is he speaks so authoritatively that he sounds knowledgeable. However, he is wrong. 2. I applauded when Ms. Pat stopped to tell him that she feels that he doesn’t care about people. Not just because it does sound that way, but because that’s what we as friends should do to each other-be real and honest. 3. They do not edit anything out she has asked them to edit. That bothers me. 4. Though she’s been transparent and vulnerable about her education and language skills, it feels like they make fun of her. I don’t like it at all. 5. After reading Rabbit, I understand and have a profound appreciation of her.

The coupon from pharmaceutical companies isn't widely known but this is something that should be discussed and drs should inform their patients.
100% but a good chunk of patients who need the medication aren't eligible for the manufacturer's coupons and/or copay assistance.

Its true about calling the drug company I work for one and I get calls asking for help with the cost everyday.
I get trying to put a set price on things but it will also contribute to greed of the public if they were cheap.
