The Japanese speaking seaman wears a cap of JS Kaga’s one. Appreciate it.

We are mates now, no worries! We are always proud to support our mates! That's what it's all about, Japan has mates, Australia has mates, we are in this together.

The other day I saw the US Marines testing whether their F35 STVOL's could land & take off from a Japanese Izumo Class Helicopter Ship. Turns out it works fine.
Only took the Chinese a decade to convince Japan they needed their first Aircraft Carriers since WW2.
    Weird...

What is the story of the Eureka flag on the caps? Just the connection to Ballarat, or something else?

Ballarat is home to the Eureka rebellion and birthplace of that flag and the name of the ship that flys it

So terribly corny, My goodness! But what fab Royal Australian Navy personnel to get me to be just a little teary-eyed. (I think it is just an eyelash. Will get back to you) All my best respects, as always.

Hehe, I nearly had an eyelash. It feels good to be corney when the other guys will be just as corney. Friendship comes easy when you can see there is also mutual respect. It will hopefully never come to it but we are mates now so if the worst does happen, no-one will face it alone.
