  • We cover the 3 sequences of debt and equity funding, and model the funding cascade for an equity first drawdown. Learn how to keep track of how much equity and debt has been disbursed using control accounts, and link them into the funding waterfall calculations.
We don't cover the modeling of Interest During Construction (IDC) and financing fees. Those are covered in detail in the Ultimate Guide to Project Finance Modeling (see below).
** NOTE: This video and excel model are from Wall Street Prep's Ultimate Guide to Project Finance Modeling at www.wallstreetprep.com/self-s... and are available through enrollment into the program.
HOWEVER: A simplified version of this model is available in Wall Street Prep's FREE PROJECT FINANCE MODELING course at www.wallstreetprep.com/knowle...

Very informative video. Do you have an add-on where you can account for roll-up interest and commitment fees?

as far as I am aware I don't see any instances of circular referencing in this model, which is what I came to see. good vide nonetheless

    Sir, very informative video.
As such I would like to clarify further on how the Past costs or expenses incurred and paid in the past for the project by the stakeholders would be adjusted as part of Equity contributions in the Project. ( For example 1 Million USD) How does this work practically.
1: How will bank adjust these costs when Debt Equity ratio is 55:45?
Can we negotiate with the bank to adjust the full amount 1 million USD incurred in the past to adjust as stakeholders Equity contributions?
2: In Past costs or past expenses can we also present all Capex and All OPEX costs as past costs when submitting to the Bank or do we just submit the Capex costs only, considering the fact general understanding is that Banks wouldn't consider general OPEX costs as past costs to be adjusted.
    Kindly advice. Regards, neel
