I'm pretty sure Rohan either owns a time turner or he's one of those celestial beings that don't need to sleep at all. Because how else can you read so much, stay up to date with movies and shows, consume and remember so much information, develop hobbies AND maintain a social life?
From the way he speaks about the films podcasts, books, etc., he's passionate about these things. That's why he can do so much which seems unfathomable for many people.
Rohan Joshi is the pin who has just deflated the bubble I created around myself by reading an above average number of books and labelling myself as an avid book reader #respect
Random trivia: The sci-fi author being discussed at around 44:48 is one of the reasons we have Chitti the robot. The Rajaali song in Robots 2nd part starts with "Isaac Asimov peran da.." meaning that's Chitti 3.0 is Isaac Asimov's grandson.
I think this Part 1 discussion with Rohan was your best episode till date. Of all the guests who have come on your show, he is the only one who actually has some good recommendations, especially with podcasts and books.
Man the way he speaks and the things he says. I was listening and listening and listening and didn't even realised an hour passed. Not for a second I felt like I want to forward 10secs
Also adding to the audiobooks, The Sandman is a great place to start off. Narrated by Neil Gaiman himself and also people like Riz Ahmed, Kat Dennings, Taron Egerton and James McAvoy
Rohan Joshi is one person I could relate to when it comes to books - I cannot stop recommending books, and also reading about books, what books come out. His enthusiasm and his excitement are something so so new to me, I mean I knew about his love for books but this is amazing! I am hooked to the video, about to finish it, and now to Part 2! Amazing, I am using this video as an excuse to buy more books, just saying!
Shreya Dhanwanthary had also recommended "The three body problem" after which I picked it up. The sheer scale and audacity of this series blows my mind.
Wow! Best 1hr. I don't use insta but i now i want to because of Rohan (i know he is too active there). This is the first time that i enjoyed a recommendation video, he knows his stuff not like other youtubers faking it. Just loved it!
I love this channel but this episode is fucking amazing.. I mean I don't have any words to explain. I love you three so much now. And going to read every book , follow every Reddit page and Instagram page and everything.
Damn that's ton of information, Rohan always has some of best recommendations. Fun fact in Akira movie the olympics are supposed to be conducted in Tokyo 2020, which eventually like real world didn't happen. World at war is an amazing documentary, apart from it Band of Brothers is a beautiful watch too.
Rohan Joshi is that elder brother who will find you, getting bored at a corner at a marriage ceremony you aren't even interested to be a part at all & will start talking about everything under the sun. Then as you go back to your place, you get a paper, a pen & make a list of all the cool suggestions he gave. You start watching them. Which slowly change your entire perspective to the world. & you never really get a chance to thank him for shaping up your taste. Instead what you do, you pass on the suggestion list to another kid getting bored somewhere sometime. That's how it goes on. Thank you, Joshi just for being what you are. ❤️
Rohan please write books, have your own podcasts, vlog!! we can't afford us to be completely oblivious to the amount of knowledge you've. this is a humble request from a 19y/o who wants to know everything of everything but hasn't started anything yet😭.... Please yaar JOJO rabbit pleasssee... Guys please tell him this if anyone's reading..
One of the best things I came across on the internet today! Recommending your recommendations to others!! Thank you for exposing us to Rohan Joshi's brain.
I am currently on the third book from the Three Body Problem series.. And OMG....!!!! Had the same reaction while reading it. Cant recommend it enough! Thank you Rohan and Thank you Chalchitra Talks for having him.. 🤗
He just changed my whole perspective on reading 😲. I do read but I now notice mostly I read the books that are just basic stories one way or the other and however mind-blowing, are making the least impact on me and my thinking, my philosophy, my perspective of things. There is a vast variety of books that I haven't even explored yet that can change me into a whole new person😲😲🔥🔥. Thanks for this!!
Related really hard with "World Famous" series. Have all the books (almost) in that collection with me. Had a really hard time explaining once when one of my uncles caught me reading World famous serial killers though. I was 12. ;)
Audiobook recommendation : Sandman For History. A different approach... Historical Fiction by Amitav Ghosh is just amazing. Be it calculata chromosome. Glass Palace are good ones to check out.

No matter how old I grow, I wish to grow old with Rohan's energy and sheer child-like love for pop culture :D
Yeah
Just saw your video and came here!
And I am loving it
@@amishadewangan4523 same
Thala thanks for the recommendation!
Rohan should start a podcast of his own and geek over topics one by one! It would totally bang!
That was my first thought after watching this video.
He did start an Instagram series for his pop culture recommendations but it never went beyond a grand total of ONE episode
+1
He already started his podcast on Cryptos.
He did.
The zeal of this man is admirable. Wonderful episode!
Joshi Rohan Joshi
He is super intelligent
You look like ranbir kapoor

Rohan Joshi’s wit is so underrated..its high time he starts something of his own..he is so well read, so spontaneous..big fan
Rohan Joshi, such a good orator. I am totally envious.
Following rohan since AIB's peak, This guy is far more interesting than any other Indian comedian out there.

Rohan Joshi is the pin who has just deflated the bubble I created around myself by reading an above average number of books and labelling myself as an avid book reader #respect
💯 relatable
@harsh Patel what are some of your favourite and life changing books?
Just me, or has everyone's crush on Rohan exponentially increased?
Yes,since past few days.
Count me in, foso.
Its been 10 days. My youtube history is crazy 😂❤️🤍
I'm a man and I'm straight but I agree with you.
I've said this many times and I'll say it again, the intelligence + humbleness is what made me admire him. We need more ppl like him

63 Recommendations. That’s quite a lot. But no fear, when Pop Culture Professor Rohan Joshi is here!
I'm so envious of this guy. Never lose this child like enthusiasm, Rohan!
Thank you, Vaani, for ‘Dead Famous’ and ‘Horrible Histories’! I love that series. I have an entire boxed set.
Besides the great recommendations, the man's energy is contagious. The way people look when they talk about something they love makes my heart melt

Man such a rare conversation! Wish more youtube would be like this.
Anyone of today’s “so called” youtubers would’ve milked at least 20-30 if not more videos from this power packed episode! Good bit this

Rohan Joshi's recommendations should be a show!
The biggest betrayal is making it a 2 part episode(maybe 3 part i don't know)
