  • In the previous classes, we discussed with the major notes or Shuddh Swar. Now in this lesson, We discuss how to play half notes, the four Komal Swar and one Tivra swar. So finally we are learning all twelve notes by this lesson. But to begin with this lesson, We should keep in mind that playing half notes perfectly in flute is not very easy at the beginning. We think this practice needs some patience and care, it is some kind of a intermediate lesson.
    Many of us expressed our interest to have a tutorial on this topic. So we are trying to cover the topic, we hope you will enjoy the lesson like the earliers.

    Sir, one thing i would like to know about: when I practice for SRGM and then goes down for PDNS, so what should be the frequency of PDNS, should it be played by lower octave (as they are played in lower octave having their nature...) Or i should follow the increasing order as the combination of SRGMPDNS ?

    Dear Sir, thank you so much for your tutorials. I am only just beginning and the way you explain is very clear and helpful. I am practicing on a G scale bansuri. I can cover the 6 holes, but my pinky finger is too short to reach low tivra Ma. Does this mean that I will never be able to play raag Yaman properly (with the meend from tivra Ma - Pa)?

    • @EasyFluteSchool
      @EasyFluteSchool  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No, the case is not like that. u can not alter your finger, but u can choose flute so that u can play tivra ma.Choose a ideal flute for you .thanks.

    I'm having a lot of trouble getting komal dha to sound full in the low octave. It will come out but at a whisper. I'm using a pretty well built Carbon Fiber bansuri. Everything else comes out well enough so far. Is that just an especially difficult note? Any tips?

    Why do you use such names "কোমল রে, কোমল ধা" etc? This isn’t useful. You should also have included the standard names like F#, E#, C# etc.
    You also don't use the "Sheet music notation". Instead you use " সারেগামা" type notation. I think people in the subcontinent should start using the standard notation with their traditional notation. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t disrespect the traditional notation. I just can't get it well. Sorry, this channel isn’t useful to me.
