    Cotton balls. 100% pure cotton and super glue actually produces a thermal reaction - used often in R/C hobby for 'super' strong bonds and repairs. Additionally, light sprinkling of baking soda to quick set is also used.

    I Wonder if you can use filter floss instead of cigarette filter?

    HI ! If I were to attach a driftwood to a rock and have super glue gel, do I still need the cigarette filter?

      If you have a crack between the two pieces, then yes, you’ll need something to sort of “bridge the gap”. You can use cotton balls.

    Is it dangerous for our fish, cause of the filter or glue ??

    My rocks and Driftwood have fallen apart. How long should I dry the peices before attempting to glue them ?

    • @steviemichelle7271
      @steviemichelle7271 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would let them dry completely before attempting to reconnect them. How long that takes depends on the temperature and humidity. If you are running your heater at this time of year, somewhere near your heat source or vent would dry them faster. If you live where it’s dry and sunny outside at this time of year, the sun is your best friend

    This video could have been 3 minutes long. It's a good idea. I'm not going to buy a pack of cigarettes just for this reason, but gives me ideas of other things I could use to the same affect.

    What is it swimming behind you? Lochness monster? 🤔

  • @bushchat
    @bushchat ปีที่แล้ว

    It's a good idea but make sure the fiber stuff is properly covered with sand and glue. Otherwise the fishes like cichlids start to eat the fiber particles.

    ...CA glue in water dissolves in relatively short time, some month, maybe 1 year. That's absolutely not permanent, you can use CA glue to set up a layout but you can't use it for structural purposes.
    Only epoxy is "permanent"...maybe...
