this is absolutley magical to see, legend is my fav tr game and i had so much interest in all the crazy old footage, only back then there wasnt much of it, so delighted to see this now, thanks a lot! hope youll upload more :)
I kind of like how they made gameplay look at this point. It looks like it controls a little bit clunky which suits the tank controls of the classic games. The section for Peru looks really interesting though how they made it look like a hub with interactable NPCs. It would've been so cool if that remained in the final product but ah well, Legend was amazing regardless.
Just like you can change direction of swinging without stopping, all you have to do is press extra button while doing that (it's gonna be triangle on playstation, or E on PC as far as I remember, either way it's the interact/fast climb button)

The game was too short and linear, to me it’s the weakest game in the franchise for that reason, even if the gameplay is enjoyable it’s ruined by its linearity and it can be completed in less than an afternoon. When i first got the game when it came out i beat it in less than 4 hours
Legend and anniversary have some of the smoothest animations in the entire series lol, most of if not all of the animations in the latest reboot must've been motion captured

I actually think it’s one of the best games in the franchise for its story and mythos alone- it’s deserving of an expanded remake for sure.
Crystal Dynamics has Always sucked at animations. Even the reboot trilogy has horrendous animations.
