I feel like the time and complexity of cooking the Korean meals may be why several of the Koreans said they don't normally eat breakfast. American breakfast is all about making something quickly and easily that will keep you full for several hours.

    • @FeelinGoode
      @FeelinGoode 5 ปีที่แล้ว +266

I disagree. A standard Korean breakfast is not complex at all. Many Koreans keep side dishes saved up in their fridges. Rice is always available and easy to make. Soup is also very easy to make. I feel like it comes down to habit and how busy one person is. I know many Westerners that skip breakfast too but it's very standard for Westerners to have a ritual of eating Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

I am from the US and this is what I remember for breakfast growing up.
    Oatmeal with honey and cinnamon.
Buckwheat waffles as big as your plate with honey or maple syrup.
    Cinnamon toast
    Biscuits and cream gravy.
Grits with easy over eggs sprinkled with raw onion and cheese.
Corn beef hash fried brown scrambl a few eggs in and serve it on a slice of bread.
Fried potatoes and onions with eggs.
Toasted bagel with cream cheese and turkey bacon.
Egg wrap with cheese and homemade kimchi.
Sausage and sauerkraut fried together served on bread with two fried eggs.
    Toast with butter and jam.
French toast sandwich with melted cheese and sausage dipped in syrup.
    Pumpkin empanadas.
    Concha bread with Coco coffee.
Cheese , green pepper and onion omelettes.
    Hash browns and cream gravy.
    Wavo rancheros.
    Egg drop soup.
    Eggs Benedict.
    Scrambled eggs.
    Buttered cornbread and boiled eggs.
    Crepes
    Fried hominy cakes.
    Fish patties.
    Pumpkin bars with milk.
Sweet soup.( I don't know what this is called but it's a soup made with fruit fresh dried and canned with rice flour dumplings that an old friend of the family makes.)
