I wouldve presented a cereal bowl lmao
Both Americans and Koreans typically have cereal for breakfast lol it's the normal, quick, and easy breakfast food. Who actually gets up early for breakfast like this unless it's the weekend?!
@@rockinchik06 ..I eat cereal on the weekends too.... I only make eggs if I'm feeling fancy.. That doesnt even last cause I eat it whole..
Natasha Perez u thought I was alone lol or I eat Nutella sandwich with milk
My job starts at 6am so I have a piping hot hearty serving of some more sleep for breakfast.
Pour a cup of musli into a cup of yogurt and leave it in the fridge overnight. Sprinkle on some berries if you have em. Just slurp it up in the morning before you bolt out.
Healthy breakfast done!

I feel like the time and complexity of cooking the Korean meals may be why several of the Koreans said they don't normally eat breakfast. American breakfast is all about making something quickly and easily that will keep you full for several hours.
I disagree. A standard Korean breakfast is not complex at all. Many Koreans keep side dishes saved up in their fridges. Rice is always available and easy to make. Soup is also very easy to make. I feel like it comes down to habit and how busy one person is. I know many Westerners that skip breakfast too but it's very standard for Westerners to have a ritual of eating Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Lol pancakes take some mixing and cooking time too so i don't know about "quick". For something quick, people just eat cereal or grab some toast or something
Can nonkoreans please stop trying to speak for Koreans? Any Korean would know just how quick a Korean meal can be prepared., all the side dishes are kept in compartments in the refrigerator and rice is always in the rice cooker for a person who regularly eats Korean meals. Ik people who don't feel like eating breakfast, Americans and Koreans and that's their own preference.
Also... koreans have been eating more western for breakfast for several years. Actually most koreans would just pick up something on the way to work if they were really hungry lol only people who have traditional moms would most likely have soup and rice in the morning lol
I feel like korean breakfast is more healty
When I'm in the mood to eat until I can't eat anymore, I get breakfast food.

Keep scrolling well not really, it’s actually up there with some of the hardest (like English for example but not as hard). For different languages and dialects the level of difficulty varies so it might me harder or easier for some people. But yeah after you learn all the characters and the alphabet Koreans considerably easy.
Fernanda Ramírez believe it or not English is one of the most difficult languages, the way we use grammar and pronunciation is very different depending on what language you grew up with would determine how hard english is to learn

"I'm going to make pancakes."
Lmao this basically sums up korean v us food
I find it interesting that out for the korean/American groups, the black guy and the Korean lady group were less awkward.
^probably because of the general favor koreans have towards white people versus black people
“When you think of an American food you only think of a hamburger or pizza” I suppose that’s understandable lol.
Isn't breakfast very individual? I usually eat just hard bread with butter. My sister eats banana, porridge and seeds. My mom eats eggs and yoghurt xD
that's true but i think culturally there is a "general breakfast" in each region. usually pushed by fastfood places in the west, like pancakes/sausage and eggs in north america. like a breakfast you'd make if you had time to make it.
@@null6955 I wonder how the Koreans have time to make all their side dishes then since they work so much :o
@@RnRnR i think they prepare a lot in advance. like all the pickled/fermented side dishes are probably in their fridge already. the other side dishes are mainly blanching and salting vegetables. and any other side dish they can make in bulk and keep for days.
@@RnRnR they prepare the side dishes the night before and also sometimes they already have the dishes ready they just have to heat it up.
I’m American I don’t even eat breakfast and neither do most people I know, unless it’s an occasion like we’re going out for breakfast together or something - if I do eat breakfast it’s like oh let my grab a banana cause I woke up hungry or maybe cereal or something if I have time before work or class

Agreed! I eat breakfast maybe once or twice a week and it’s a piece of fruit or a granola bar.
Lol, it's not how it works. Sides are usually made all at once one time and stored in fridge and just pulled out when eating again. My mom used to make them during the weekend and we eat throughout the week

"Breakfast gravy" vs "dinner gravy" I'm still finishing the video but I'm annoyed enough I looked for the first comment that mentioned gravy. I mean, I guess if she doesn't really know the different applications for brown gravy vs white gravy (you've inadvertently become an ambassador of sausage gravy and you don't consider chicken fried steak a valid dinner food??) then she probably hasn't had the most experience with country gravy which... idk I'm mildly annoyed but still appreciate the effort. I just wish I could have both her and her partner over for breakfast with my late grandma somehow
@@hp8685 I went to look for the first comment about the gravy too! Not that sausage gravy usually looks good, but that was so unappetizing.
