Great video. I wish MSFS had more than 10 custom camera positions - 7 of mine are used for often used cockpit views (overhead, MCDU, ECAM etc) and three for cabin views. It's a shame we can't use more for outside views on top of that.
Hi… yea, 10 is a bit limiting, I tend to use all 10 slots for external cameras then use the default cockpit views (CTRL 0-9) for MCDU, overhead etc. Sometimes if a plane has an EFB and there isn’t a view for that I’ll assign a camera. Hello thanks for the tutorial it worked for me. I see that if we get a view on the landing gear with that technique the wheels become black. It seems that it’s not modeled 😢

@seven3simmerI’m using MSFS 2020 will try to reinstall the plane don’t really know what is causing this since if I use the default landing gear external view they are appearing normally it’s only with custom views :/
Hello. Thanks for the video. I can get outside the aircraft per your instructions but when I press CTRL ALT (NUM1) it does not save the view using ALT NUM1. Am I missing something?
Hi… thanks for your question. Just double check your keybinds, if you’re using MSFS 2024 they have a different set to 2020. Also I’m not sure if it makes a difference but I don’t have a number keypad on my keyboard and use the numbers across the top row.
