Just found this band tonight and it is gratifying to look at comments where I see some of the younger music lovers know the 80's even if they were babies (This version of when doves cry was fantastic). My mother made sure I knew her music which I called oldies in the 60's so I could have a well rounded education in music since I loved the rock n roll of the time. I myself have enjoyed the changes in music and when it went to heavy metal and rock it stole my heart, however, I love all types of rock since the 50's and the styles progress with the times, however, heavy metal and rock continue to have their captive audience which I will never stray from as my favorite and best type of music there is! I'll be rocking in my wheelchair in the next 20 yrs sometime banging my head!
I've been a long time fan of these guys, since March of the Bastards. They've always sung words that match aspects of my life down to the T without exception. First time I've come across this and I guess they covered a song that has, unfortunately, always described the relationship I have with my parents. This band doesn't get near as much credit as they deserve. It's hard to find modern music in which you can hear and actually feel the raw emotion portrayed by the lyrics like SH can do.
