My friend has one of them (We both are into '90s cars) his dad bought it new. Then his mom drove it. Then it came time for him. The car is on 234k km and still works. I myself wasn't born in the 90s but shit. They made better cars than they make today.

I had this exact model and it was pure garbage. The undersurface started rusting very badly after only 6 years and after 13 years the car had to be scrapped.
I'm sorry about the bad experience you had with the w210. I also have a W210 and it is by far the most beautiful car I have ever driven. Yes, there are some problems in all of them, especially the electronical problems, but they give so many good feelings that bad sides of the car simply ignored by people. We don't actually glorify old cars, they are what a car should be, we just miss the days when real cars were made

After the W140, EVERYTHING went downhill between 1995-1999 depending on model until 2006 then started to get better
