You were fortunate to have the really high standard professional narration by Bruce McLean.
Just as he was on many ARE videos on VHS that the ARE made where Bruce raised the quality with his narration.

Felt like I was taken back a few years with the opening title and the narration by Bruce McClean. He narrated ARE productions on the Ballarat Trams and V/line videos such as Power Parade and 4472 Downunder 'back in the day'. Well done.

Magnificent production, love the aerial shot at Seymour. The professional narration brought back many memories of other productions.

Very clever intro - well done - and the timing with the Comeng set at Kensington was almost too perfect! Great footage and record of a historic day.

This is really good! I unfortunately wasn't volunteering on that train (I'm volunteering on this Sunday's one though), but it looks like it was really good!
The history and narration was also awesome! Great job!

Amazing coincidence that this was being premiered just as I was talking to my friend Ross telling me about his Sunday spent on this tour.
A shame that the ARE needed to fold up.
First ARE tour with Y 108 in 1961 before it went into the North Williamstown museum.
Last ARE tour with A2 986 being 108 years old. So 108 crops up for the first and last tour. But not Y 108 being a spring chicken of just 72 years old or so when it did its last tour.
