    I am a non vacciner from the US and will not be getting one. If I travel to Montenegro will I be required to quarantine? Also do they offer testing upon landing?

    • @montenegrovideoguide4011
      @montenegrovideoguide4011 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We just put Israel and EU member states on no tests needed, and working toward putting US on that list too. Let's see the developments in that regard in the coming weeks. Since you are not vaccinated your best bet is to have negative PCR test no older than 72hrs, as there are no testing facilities at Podgorica and Tivat airport. There are no dedicated quarantine facilities for non citizens/residents, so in order to be admitted in the country you will need to present either negative PCR test, certificate of vaccination, or positive IgG test no older than 30 days. Hello! Great video, thank you!
    Also I'm little confused about the entering in Montenegro with vaccine certification. I read multiple times that they want second vaccine to be received at least 7 days before entering Montenegro. I am talking about official travelling information Montenegro pages and here you say at least 14, as I read in 2 other sites also. I have to spend 2 weeks in Montenegro next month and I will have exactly 7 days passed from my 2nd dose vaccine that's why I'm worried.

      @montenegrovideoguide4011 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Vanya Nikolova hello Vanya, thank you for your kind feedback. Please note that this is an info from government website regarding vaccination 14 days prior to arrival. Couple of days ago they switched the rule from 7 to 14 days.
      www.covidodgovor.me/me/putovanja You can open this page in Chrome and translate it. Also you could call Montenegro embassy in your country to double check, perhaps they are flexible with vaccination, and may allow entering with 7 days from the last doze of the vaccine.
      If I was you I would have negative PCR test just in case not to risk any unpleasantness at the border.

    Hi, we are travelling to Montenegro in August. I was wondering if it's possible to buy a sim card for mobile data freely in shops? Where i live, in Belgium, as a counter-terrorism measure, you have to be a belgian citizen to buy one, and it has to be registered.
    I could upgrade my own phone subscription, but it would costabout €40 extra, and i would only get 2GB of data in Montenegro. Maybe it would be cheaper and easier to buy it locally? Any thoughts or recommendations? On our first day we will enter from Croatia, and then have a quick stop in Herceg Novi. Then we'll continue to Kotor.
    Also, i've already watched all of your videos. Amazing and very useful videos! Thank you!

      Hi Simon, thank you for your kind feedback, hope you subscribed to keep our community growing and to stay up to date with all travel updates and news I will keep posting weekly.
      Speaking about sim cards and data plans, check out this link telekom.me/privatni-korisnici/turist translate it to your language on google chrome, I think these are best packages with a lot of GBs.
      Simply present your passport as you will need to register the sim card on your name. It is definitely a good choice to buy local sim card, either at one of provider's office or street vendors.
      Herceg Novi is very cool to explore for couple of hours, and then around Boka Bay you have places such as Kotor, Perast, Prcanj, Tivat... And further toward Budva and Cetinje also amazing towns to explore.
      Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheer's, Predrag

    Hello, is it possible to travel via bus coming from Tivat Airport to Kotor? And regarding pcr testing, would you happen to have an idea how long they provide the results and if they need prior scheduling for foreign travellers? Thank you!

    • @montenegrovideoguide4011
      @montenegrovideoguide4011 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tricia, there are no direct buses from Tivat airport to Kotor. Tivat bus station is about 2km away from the airport, so it is possible to take a taxi from the airport to Tivat bus station, and from there to take a bus to Kotor. Saving is only 7-8 euros, so maybe it is not worth the hassle. Otherwise you can take a taxi from the airport to Kotor directly, but make sure to agree to reasonable price before departing, so you do not get scammed, as sometime taxi drivers are known to charge double or triple. 15 euro the most should be the price during summer. PCR results can be obtained on the same date, if you do the test in the morning. Otherwise it will be on the next day. Price is around 50-60eur. Check our labs such are Milmedika, MojLab... Hope you found this helpful and subscribed, to keep our community growing. Cheer's, Predrag

      Thank you so much for the reply! Me and my friend are planning to visit by 3rd week of July and we were worried about the airport pickup and drop off rate offers to us by our accommodation. The 9.1km would cost 25euros and I thought that was a bit too pricey (or maybe that's just the price for summer season) so we wanted to check if taking the bus would be a viable option and just walk to the accomodation.
      As for the pcr testing, from where I reside now there is a specific testing facility that we should only be going to. Are the testing facilities printing out results or do they just send it through email? And just to clarify, PCR testing for foreigners is not free as mentioned in the video?
      Thank you by the way for the informative video update for Montenegro, I've been watching your videos so me and my friend are prepared for the trip 😊

    • @montenegrovideoguide4011
      @montenegrovideoguide4011 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Upscale hotels will usually offer prices on higher end for transportation, as they offer luxury cars. As I said, to Kotor you should pay no more than 15 euro from Tivat airport. Of course during peak season month prices are higher than during winter, when prices can be slashed by half. There is free PCR testing at state health centers (Dom zdravlja), however this should be scheduled couple of days in advance and during July I believe it can get very busy and perhaps results may be delayed... Which is why I mentioned to you private labs which are very fast and much more reliable, especially during summer months. Hope this helps :) Cheer's, Predrag

    The negative PCR test not older than 72 hours is actually quite difficult to obtain. The Laboratories in my country only guarantee a 48 hour turn around. And my flight to Montenegro is 17 hours if there are no delays.
    If there are any delays my test may be over 72 hours.

    • @montenegrovideoguide4011

      48hrs is a long time to wait for PCR test... here in Mne we usually get it on the same day... Is there possibility to have such possibility in your country? If we ask nicely here, we can even get result in couple of hours :) BTW, in case you need the test to come back to your country, you get it for free.
      If I was you, I would try to make a deal with a lab to speed up your test result...
