I definitely agree with the part when you said you need to tell someone else about what you’re dealing with to heal. Just last week, I confessed to my boyfriend about an addiction that I’ve been hiding from him. With grace and compassion, he has supported me with healing. It has been the greatest week ever, I feel closer to healing and less tied down by my ugly sins. The truth will hurt but it is very very worth it, if you really want a shot at a beautiful lasting relationship with your bf/gf.

I have terrible strife in my life with one of my kids. His dad passed away and he is not handling it well. He doesn't live here but he comes and.starts taking things of his dads that also belong to his 2 brothers. I don't know what to do. Please pray for me. I hate the way things are. ❤
You’re hitting on some important stuff! I’ve been saving money since I was 16, I don’t consider myself rich but I do live comfortably and I have a great relationship with spending. I am not super super cheap, I’m just good with saving money. I rather pay for great quality on some things because I worked hard for my money and it’s not like I don’t deserve it. There are some things not worth stressing over and being cheap can really steal some of your time!!!

Okay… I am a little confused about what you meant when we should not talk about the past and feel sorry about ourselves but isn’t that what you are doing? You keep saying what happened to you and what your father did to you as a child. Maybe I don’t understand what you’re saying here.
Joyce gets irritated with her audience all the time. It's really passive aggressive as she gets her audience to respond in the way she desires. And to follow every word and assimilated it in an instant and thereafter reward her with loud applause etc. Human beings can't take in the myriad of points she makes at such a breakneck speed and respond speedily accordingly. It's impossible. And because you can't do this, she gets irritated seemingly.she lacks complete unawareness of this trait. So people just make the noise because she calls them to do so. This is really cultish. Sorry, but I can't listen to her. She gives me hideous anxiety as she's a punisher personality.
She's looking for ppl to be honest about what she is speaking.. as she's said and most people know they're not fully honest about who they are... and how they feel or view their own life.

I'm new to Joyce Meyer and really feeling power of the Holy Spirit speaking through her to me giving me strength to start allowing and trusting God's to help me be more of a doing person in my life. I have been struggling with anxiety and depression related to being a people pleaser, and past trauma and major losses and attacks of judgement and condemnation of others and just feeling stuck in a shit house mind set.. I think about all the shit, hurt and lies and rumors that others have done to me in the past then I miss opportunity to hear the Holy Spirit and carry out God's plans for my life. On days I pray for His guidance and direction for my life and the strength to carry out his plans. Sometimes looking back at the past I wonder how I made it through but I know our fathers grace and mercy and love carried me through.
Quite out dated in relation to male female roles in relation to money. Why do women need to 'submit to their husbands'? What about men needing to 'submit to their wives'? Most women work and do most of the household chores and duties raising the children still, as well as just surviving on her own wage. On a lot of occasions men earn money then spend it on themselves, and not on the family expenses. Its not been too long ago that women didn't work as society had them at home. And they were forced to always submit because if not the man could easily make her homeless. And she had no rights over custody too. Countless women had their children taken from her because the law saw her as chattel. Yeah, everytime I give Joyce a go, she comes back to this sticking point which belongs in the dark ages
If a man leads as he should. Women naturally submit.. feel at peace and trust that his intentions are good.
As I have recently learned, it's that if man places christ first and foremost, he will always be under the lords guidance, and the very first thing that the lord will want is that he takes good care of his wife and children. This is the biblical way.
