Itazan is a powerful fighter (player), but Kenpi learned how to fight against him. Was great watching Kenpi evolution during the fight. Its like watching DBS and see the fighters evoluting.
They made an awesome reboot of this game and then decided. ......."How can we fuck it up with a character even more irritating than Rufus?!" Every punch is to his nuts because the character is so out of proportion.
Kenpi is overrated. Doesn't have the extra gear. Practically loses all high profile best on best matches against pros. Itazan playing Abigail doesn't count.
Isnt there a recent vid on here with him on a slugfest with Tokido...which he won? He maybe unproven as a tournament player, but i think he's pretty good.
I just reviewed that match (th-cam.com/video/tlWKbhktlcI/w-d-xo.html). Kenpi made some interesting adjustments since his last encounter versus Tokido which surprised me. Cleaned up the throwing game (both executing it and countering Tokido's), consistently nullified close range fireball from Akuma with a ex DP, as well as other small tweaks. In the end though, Kenpi won by gambling with a wakeup DP in the final round that ended up paying off. Wakeup DPs are rarely done in the pro circuit because it's usually countered and the punish is often fatal. A bit lucky, but that's part of success anyway. Kenpi is still rough around the edges and his mental game remains shit against pros. You can also tell Tokido has another gear that Kenpi clearly still does not, but it wasn't like Tokido was taking it easy either. Kenpi showed more promise in that match, so I will be watching him more closely going forward.

SVTsupercharged Abigail actually only has armor on E X moves except for his Nitro charge which is meant to have armor. Has extremely punishable moves actually almost every one of his specials and normals are unsafe to unblock except the giant flips, standing medium punch, Jab, crouching Jab, light Kick, and crouching light kit. Compare that to any of the big body he is only better than Zangief. To counter all of his armor moves except for the EX Abigail punch all you have to do is a neutral jump.
kyree herron There should not be a character in the game that can destroy 80% of a characters life with one combo. Abigail has far more strengths than weaknesses. He is not at all balanced.
Abigail is sooo boring to watch.. and the design of the character itself is lame.. his animations are stupid.. where does he hang the opponent? I know he is bulky but his punches look lame and powerless.. I knoooow they do much damage but they look lame.. as if he was sacring a fly or something..

The only characters that can "spam FBs" are Guile and Sagat. Ken could never really depend on his FBs to zone people out. That was Ryu's thing.
