Why would you not have a football/soccer related welcome activity? There are tons of fun things like juggling, two person juggling, juggling against a bouncy rebounder, soccer golf where you set up cones or hoops and they have to kick the ball from one cone or hoop to the other and keep golf score, dribbling maze, etc.

Great explanation. Do you maybe have anything to help with a new u7 coach. Ive been trying to find videos but they are all posted by clubs not in africa so they have state of the art equipment and 10 balls per team. We have 10 balls for u7 age group. So when the practice gets split up into teams, it becomes difficult to have enough balls to do the training drills all these videos show.

Dribble through cones, 1v1, teach them how ti throw in, scrimmage the rest of practice and teach on the fly. Do not stop the scrimmage to lecture. Teach during the scrimmage.
