Even for a heterosexual marriage, sex is about glorifying God, not personal gratification. Basically everything culture says about sex and relationships in general, the Bible disagrees with. Yes, the Bible speaks against the act of homosexuality, but it also speaks heavily to how high a standard of love Christians need to have towards the rest of the world. We live in an age where love is tied to approval, but that isn't and has never been the definition of love. It's obviously a touchy thing and most people will only react towards the hot button opinion of "the bible says homosexuality is not holy", so I think that's why they choose not to go there on here. If Christ isn't the focal point of your life, then it wouldn't make any sense to disagree with homosexuality
