Well, when you think about how long it would take to retrieve the horse (or horses) from the barn and hook them up to a buggy or put on a saddle, this is still faster. Also, you would have the advantage of going farther than 10 or 15 miles before the horse gets tired. I would take the car over a horse any day, LOL.....
