There would be no one better to assist King Charles in family affairs than the Princess Royal. He shares a close bond with her, she's his confidante, and she is so much like her mother. The family respects her. As stated in inews, ‘She’s famously got a much more direct character. She doesn’t suffer fools. She goes for the no-nonsense approach to the work of monarchy.' Seems to me that Princess Anne is the right person to "lay down the law" to Harry and Meghan. She wouldn't acquiesce to their demands and wouldn't allow them to derail King Charles' reign.

I think he should wait even longer. Remember Harry had said there would be "another book" but not until after the Queen had passed. Also, Megan has been making hints of her own book....So this one book coming out that's already written isn't the end....and Charles should do NOTHING at all...because we have all seen that once the Harkles get what they want they lie, embellish and trash the family for all they can get. It's their only skill and all they have to sell. Being there for the funeral has only given them what they lacked "new material" because even their supporters had been saying that people were tired of their rehashing the complaints of the past it had worn thin and that they needed new material. This uniform thing is getting annoying. It wasn't about humiliating Harry. It was about following long established rules. Veterans who are no longer in the services are not allowed to wear their uniforms. They can wear their medals. It's not about an attack on Harry. But Camilla is clearly his soul mate. And as the 14 year old Diana fangirls eventually grow up and mature, they will see that love is not a Disney fairytale and sometime it can be gritty and messy.

Harry and Meghan were given a year to reflect on their decision to leave royal life after which they would either be welcomed back to their former positions or wished the best of luck in their new life. Harry was fully aware of everything he would lose, including the right to wear a uniform. If he felt humiliated during his latest visit, it was most probably because he couldn't be bothered to visit his grandmother before she died.
Not to mention a very large 4-5 million pound budget for the year to live and reflect on. They should have stopped the private jets, and expensive clothes, and a home they are mortgaged out the wazoo on. Instead, conserved their money, and utilized it towards their charitable goals. They could have bought a ranch somewhere, in an area that is not OTT expensive and lesser known. Then they would have enormous privacy on 50-100 acres somewhere less known and cheaper real estate, and 1/3 of the size of the home they have, and reduce overheads. Which then would have money to build their charities on. I keep asking myself: Did they not draw up a business plan?

Watching the Queen's funeral with millions of other people made me feel very connected in a common empathy, grief, admiration for and better understanding of the value of the monarchy and its role within the Commonwealth of 2.4 B people. The funeral focussed our connection to a noble ideal. A couple of meritless whingers will bring that down? They're dreaming.
Not knowing the toxic duo personally then I have no right to say I loathe the pair of them for all the foul lies , disrespect for my late Queen ... BUT I DO SAY I despise the on going behaviour of the pair of them ....deplorable . I hope now they are back home they have time to read all negative reports on their behaviour over the last few years and understand why the Brits never want to set eyes on them again. FOR the American people...sorry you have been landed with this pair ...! There must be a place in your outbacks that can give them the space and privacy they crave for themselves and poor children !
It is absolutely mind-blowing to me that Harry and has the balls to complain about anything, considering how many concessions have been made for him and his even more ungrateful wife, by HMTQ in the last year of her life. Neither of them showed an ounce of compassion or empathy for Harry's grandmother, considering her age, losing Prince Philip and her declining health, that was obvious to everyone who saw her over the last year. KC and PW attempted to reach out and attempted to extend olive branches like the walkabout at Windsor, only for these 2 to spit it back in their faces and leak whatever they could to their mouthpieces Omid Scobie and Gayle King. Meghan should be grateful she was permitted to attend any of the services, including the family dinner at BP when they received HM's coffin, only for them to tip off a photographer the precise location and time of when to take the shot of Meghan and Harry behind King Charles through the glass doorway that Omid posted and deleted. No photographers or journalists were permitted to be there. It was a private, family gathering and once again Meghan and Harry proved themselves to be untrustworthy.
H&M have no shame when it comes to them finding ways to get money and publicity!! They were total fools to even think they could "build a brand" on the short tails of the Royals!!!! Harry knew very well the members of the RF never used their positions for personal gain!!! It was not allowed. The duo should have made sure they had a solid plan for living as a stage Americans and supporting themselves before they left as working Royals. Megnut was a fool to believe producers, etc would be knocking at her door offering her huge roles to star in simply because she married Harry!! If she ever paid attention to REAL stars ( actors and actresses) she should have been smart enough to know they worked very hard, put in a lot of sweat equity and time and also had a solid talent they continually perfected on order to reach the status they have!! Nothing was simply handed to them!! H&M have no skills, no talent, and certainly no personality to bank on!! They need to get some classes or training and find something they can do to support themselves!!! Middle aged people expecting others to support them and their lifestyle!!!! What a joke!!!

I don’t like this being framed as “negotiations”. Harry and Meghan broke protocol. Harry and Meghan left. Harry and Meghan made unreasonable demands. Harry and Meghan bashed the royal family. They broke trust. They burned bridges. They lied and acted in bad faith. Who should “negotiate” with Harry and Meghan when they might just change the terms at a whim? Or throw one under the bus anyway, as soon as they got their way? Everyone should know and learn, you can only draw clear boundaries with these type of people. There would be no one better to assist King Charles in family affairs than the Princess Royal. He shares a close bond with her, she's his confidante, and she is so much like her mother. The family respects her. As stated in inews, ‘She’s famously got a much more direct character. She doesn’t suffer fools. She goes for the no-nonsense approach to the work of monarchy.' Seems to me that Princess Anne is the right person to "lay down the law" to Harry and Meghan. She wouldn't acquiesce to their demands and wouldn't allow them to derail King Charles' reign.

I was so amazed at how close Princess Anne stayed to her brother during the funeral. She kept looking at him to see how he was doing and had genuine concern for his well-being. I did not realized how hard working she has been. I wonder if her role will increase?
Most don't realize, however their are documentaries showing the battle she has faced while attending more events than others and focus on charities that help so many. Mothers drive and fathers driving force and dry wit.

She later admitted these mistakes but, at the time, she simply followed protocol!

Everyone I talk to thinks King Charles should (1) not make a decision about H&M’s children until after Harry publishes his book; (2) if Harry’s book is negative, then Charles should not give titles to the children, and let H&M carry on in California on their own. No way back if the book is negative.
If Harry agrees to never publish his book, Meghan agrees to withdraw her threat to publish her own “say anything” book, both given in legally enforceable documents, and they both apologize for lying about the Royal Family, then Charles has something to think about.

I think he should wait even longer. Remember Harry had said there would be "another book" but not until after the Queen had passed. This uniform thing is getting annoying. It wasn't about humiliating Harry. It was about following long established rules. Veterans who are no longer in the services are not allowed to wear their uniforms. They can wear their medals. It's not about an attack on Harry. The lack of the initials on the epaulet of his uniform was also by the book. They weren't on his uniform the day he got married. Were they trying to humiliate him on his wedding day. Again, not an attack on Harry. This is what should have been highlighted in this discussion.

Charles went against the Queens order and gave in and let him wear his uniform, that was a concession to H, but he didn't appreciate it. I agree. They met 52 years ago. *52 years* They have been in love that whole time. Unfortunately Andrew and Diana were mixed up in it all, and it wasn't the perfect love story. But Camilla is clearly his soul mate. And as the 14 year old Diana fangirls eventually grow up and mature, they will see that love is not a Disney fairytale and sometime it can be gritty and messy.

Harry was fully aware of everything he would lose, including the right to wear a uniform. If he felt humiliated during his latest visit, it was most probably because he couldn't be bothered to visit his grandmother before she died.
How do you know whether Harry was blocked by Anne and Charles having any contact at all with his Grandmother.
Not to mention a very large 4-5 million pound budget for the year to live and reflect on. They should have stopped the private jets, and expensive clothes, and a home they are mortgaged out the wazoo on. Instead, conserved their money, and utilized it towards their charitable goals. They could have bought a ranch somewhere, in an area that is not OTT expensive and lesser known. Then they would have enormous privacy on 50-100 acres somewhere less known and cheaper real estate, and 1/3 of the size of the home they have, and reduce overheads. Which then would have money to build their charities on. I keep asking myself: Did they not draw up a business plan?

In all the pageantry of those ten days days of mourning, my thoughts were focused on Her Majesty The Queen's dedication, life, and allegiance to her country. She ruled seventy years in what used to be a mans world with grace, strength and a firm hand.
