The snooker was invented in JABALPUR (m.p) in INDIA

The rules were completed by Chamberlain at the Ootacamund Club in the Hill station of Ooty in Tamilnadu.. The Club is still in existence as is the room where the game was played. As he was posted in different locations in India the game spread to other places as well
