#ESP32 I'd build a very smart thermostat for home heating, using zigbee temperature sensors spread through the house and zigbee radiator valves. This way, esp32 could individually control temp on each room of the house and maximise energy usage. Maybe each room can be set independently, to have different temps at different times of day. Or set temp on each room based on human presence with some additional sensors. So many cool ideas can come out of it!
Any thoughts on using the C6's ultra low power processor alongside the Risc-V? Can they each be debugged via the built-in jtag? How do you compile the ULP, and how are resources (ex. UART) shared between them?
Why is 320k ROM an advantage ? it provides all the options sure but if did that in 200K or 400K would we notice/care ? Also no mention of the programming environment or did i miss that ? Anyway the matter stuff is the best bit !

I didn’t know Sean Lock also did hardware. That’s great!

Was that $9 ? Good price
yep!

#ESP32 Id hook it up with a soil moisture meter and set it up with a webserver, the display would come in handy for a quick glance
#ESP32 as my first step into home automation and learning about RISC-V (its apparently the future)
#ESP32 I'd use this devkit to start migrating my home automation setup to matter. Bluetooth has been frustrating.
Just bought a handful
#ESP32 I'd use it for robotics project together with micro-ros :)
#esp32 weather sensor that reports to a web page
