This is so well put together. They reflect and contrast each other blatantly. Rey was living on a desert planet like Anakin but has the hope and faith like Padmé did. Ben was in a position of power but knew it meant nothing compared to love and doing what was right. This is all done on purpose, and Reylo is one of the strongest things in the sequel trilogy that it did right in terms of redemption arcs and compassion saving people.

After her Death he was depressed and hated himself. True, one thing. Anakin has Always wanted to be the most powerful man in the universe. He did want powerful Powers, indeed. But, he would Always pick Padmé. Padmé's the only person he'd sacrifice Everything for. He says stuff like "The thought of not being with you… I can't breath.", "You are my life." etc to Padmé and he even shows it. "wHy iS hE sTiLl bReAthIng thEn iF hE's nOt wItH hEr?", well 'Darth Vader' has attempted suicide tons of times. He doesn't WANT TO live without Padmé. In the Canon books, Darth Vader makes a portal to try to save Padmé. It doesn't work, unfortunately. Anakin never stopped wanting Padmé to earn the Power.
