You can’t have that immaculate of a flow if you don’t intentionally write it like that. That’s what she means. What you right down depends on how you flow it. Roc and Surf have excellent Economy Of Words, every word is optimized. When Surf goes into AMG, he’s not just rapping faster, he’s trimming all the fat off of each line and combining them to create momentum. You HAVE to intentionally write that way, and it’s fire. People conflate complexity with quality way too much, when often times, it takes longer to write something simple than the inverse. From Jon Jon to Twork, Surf’s writing was nearly flawless, he had 100% hit rate. You can’t have a bad or ok pen and do shit like that.

I met people who fav battle rapper is Twork. I don’t understand it and I ain’t mad, I just don’t understand how someone’s fav battle rapper can be someone whose signature is “im strapped in”.
