- HYOSUNG is the biggest motorcycle manufacturer in KOREA. Back in 2004 - 2005, Korean company HYOSUNG launched its two 250cc bikes in the Indian market, Bollywood actor Safi Ali Kahan was the first owner of Hyosung bikes in India.

I used to love the kinetic Hyosung Comet 250 as a kid ❤. It resembled Ducati monster, Suzuki SV650, Triumph Speed Triple and Honda Hornet naked sport bikes of that era. The quintessential 90s sport naked look was present in this bike even in 2004 which is awesome because we Indians didn't know about it till yamaha decided to drop the bomb that was FZ16 and FZS later on which resembled FZ01 or MT-01 of that era in 2008.

i once went to a Hyosung showroom years ago, their bikes looks great from distance and sounds unbeatable cuz of the vtwin, but one thing stuck with me is how bad the bike was built, weird big gaps btw fairings and looked like a college project.
That's exactly how I remember my experience at the DSK-Hyosung dealership in Delhi (Okhla). I was actually really surprised looking at those badly done welding joints, ill-fitted fairings, paint already coming off from certain parts of the chassis & alloy wheels, exposed wirings dangling here and there. I never noticed these things looking at the bike from a distance on road.

Japanese bikes are more reliable, better service and value for the money compared to Korean brands. Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki are household names.

@@sewerrat yeah and people from Kia are kinda repeating colonialism too, that shows that we are nothing more than a market to them and they see us as inferior beings, I won't be buying any products from Kia snd will try to avoid other korean brands too in the future until they change their mindset.
@@aniketsengupta7394 Thanks. I'll be boycotting Samsung too. It was the only brand from South Korea which was worth the money. I'd rather buy a cheap Chinese knockoff or a premium brand than to pay money to that company. Samsung practically owns Korea.

I used to own a GTR trust me the bike was unreliable as hell it broke on me in the middle of the highway during heavy rain and i faced several breakdowns during my rides the plus point of this bike was that it was really eye catching and people used to praise me because of the bike but it doesn’t matter much if your own ownership experience is bad no doubt this bike failed miserably not only in india but many other countries as well the pricing of the bike was also very unreasonable trust me don’t buy the Hyosung GTR I bought this bike as a first owner and faced these problems imagine being the second owner of this bike.

Woh bro I have a yamaha r15 v1 which is 7th owner and still it never disappointment me and never be cause such as parts availability issue of any mechanical issue and trust me it's like when ever you ride it after getting down from bike there will be a smile on you face 😊
My dad bought pulsar 220f in 2015 that time I was in school now I earn and own rc390 e20, Fzs(v2), and that 220 believe me this220 never disappointed my father and among all three bikes I love 220 the most last week I did 162kmph run on kmp and gps top speed 153kmph bs3 220 was a beast

@@technicalrootsmost of the time japanese bikes won't disappoint you, they are built for reliability, even if you are the nth owner of the bike from the Japanese big 4, they are atleast redeemable even if they are in a bad condition, and if they are in a good condition and are well maintained then they'll be reliable just like a faithful wife.

When I bought The CBR250R ABS in 2011 from first batch hyusung was already in the market my friend had one and he told me to not buy one and I’m glad I didn’t My CBR was a delight it was faster smoother was more fuel efficient and never broke down in 86000kms. Hyusungs were shit.
