Overview of what you will experience when visiting the historic 1864 clipper ship City of Adelaide at Dock 1, Port Adelaide. introduction by Director Peter Christopher. Video by Ed Liparts.
Many thanks to Peter Christopher for showing my wife, Pat, and I around the City Of Adelaide and providing so much information about the ship's history. We enjoyed the experience very much and will gladly recommend it to our friends. The ship is an amazing example of an historic build and we were amazed at its construction and the stories behind it. The build of the village around the site will be something to see over time and we wish you all the best. John Arthur
Thanks for posting, been onboard a few times while she was a Glasgow City landmark for years and great to see her looking great in the sunshine back home where she is being looked after and aiming to get restored. Best wishes to all with her future and I’m hoping one day to get back onboard. Many thanks for posting. 👏👍🏴😉
Built in the City of Sunderland, north east England,in 1864.We wanted to return it to the River Wear but thanks to the disinterested Labour council they wouldn't support the bid to return COA to its birthplace.Shame on them.
