It's not that people don't want to work it's that people have finally woken up to the fact that no one wants to work for a trash salary and or wage with absolutely way to retire me personally I'll probably die before I ever see a single cent from my Social Security personally speaking from experience I'm an armed security guard working here in Puerto Rico and I have to always risk my life protecting rich people's property as well as business properties as well as corporations making a measly trash $10 an hour in 2024 while also having to work the graveyard shift which is night shift this is the reason why my health is getting bad and I'm also overweight because breaking night has literally destroyed my internal clock I sleep at the wrong times and eat at the wrong times. Security for any company sucks no matter where you are in the world!!!!
You know if you where crowd funded and everyone gave you $20-50 a month to protect them has a “security fee” you would he earning 4-5k a month right? Hell, my personal community gaurd gets pay 15/hr i. The least and a bonus when the mantinence bill hits,

During the pandemic i was working near 10 hour days in grocery retail. I think i worked 17 days straight at its worst in the beginning. On my one day off boss begged me to come in if i wanted overtime. Worked from like 10am to midnight that day doing pretty much everything because people were stupidly panicking…our shelves were the emptiest Id ever seen and people were fighting (metaphorically and literally sometimes) us over limits on items and refund policy. Our company gave everyone two disposable masks each and said they would have to last two weeks too a month…while I made a lot of money (mostly from overtime) it was absolute misery. If I was being paid a fair wage instead of the $2/hr bonus we got for risking our health it wouldn’t have been SO bad. And how do they treat me for years of service? Termination days after I get a better paying job and turn in my 2 weeks notice. So I always treat service workers with respect and if anyone gives them a hard time I will speak up for them since they cannot.
"The hospital needs to make money" Yes, that is a completely wild concept to the rest of the world. How the heck did we decide that privatizing healthcare is a good idea? I believe you can still have a life outside of a 9-5 BUUUT cost of living and commute time can make it hard lol
Really depends on the job and area. If you can just shit your computer off at 5pm at home it's not bad. Lol
I bet it's about class of 09 typical Marylander behavior
And that’s why it’s called “recommends” not “obligatories”
I hear your voice changing in real time
I’ve had 3 jobs in 3 years cus my coworkers and I got exploited in each one
So what should we do? Quit n live a humble homeless life ?
Those quitting are the ones making 6 figures a year not us 15-50$ an hour u can’t sorry
Shits crazy
more jobs for me 🔥🔥🔥
😂
because work sucks its that simple
15:09 AI taking jobs isn’t a good thing 😂
Tommy oil up bro, month 2 day 9
I think you should work a 40 hour work week
Work a 70 hour work week if you say oil up again
day one of asking the baboon to watch mujin
Ngl watching Tommy seems like my second full time job rn..
and I dunno why I even watch him- why would I watch a dude my own age yapp about shit while watching a video.. illogical
But I do it anyways
Try 50-70 hours a week lol I wish I could only work 40 hours.
“That was an amazing video bro” dislikes
So you reacted to someone else video, put some lame input, and presented this as your work, you remind me of my hs mates in a school project, really good at taking credit and putting the least work.😂
Dude you interrupt the video too much to say say nothing.
I’m not going to lie, 9-5 is NOT that crazy as it sounds
I used to constantly complain that 9-5 sucks. Until my friend told me to check my screen time and I’ve realized I spent too much time doom scrolling so I got into time management and back to old hobbies. I believe you can still have a life outside of a 9-5 BUUUT cost of living and commute time can make it hard lol
Really depends on the job and area. If you can just shit your computer off at 5pm at home it's not bad. If you need to wake up 2 hours before, spend an hour gerrinf ready, spend an hour in traffic, worm
K, and hour in traffic back. That's not a 40 hour job. Thars already treading 55hours of your life around your job.
There's a good reason people are fighting for wfh and ditching when they try to RTO. For many people that RTO is sucking up 10-20 more hours of their time.
I’m number one 🎉
number two
What I cant wait to see is when all these you tubers are replaced, have little to no skills or experience, and are no longer able to mooch off the general public and thus need to get real jobs in their 40 with no savings and no prospects. its worth living just to see that come about...this isnt a job...its a hobby and fad and it is NOT gong to last kids.
I wonder why there is such a difference .🤔people are mad over 8 hours a day , 5 days a week . And here in asia , 10 to 12 hours is so normal for 6 days a week .
Damn I thought Asians were supposed to be smart
Different work cultures
Normal doesn't necessarily mean good
@@theonewhocaredandasked9126 yeah
I hear in China people work 996. 9am to 9pm 6 days a week . Thats insane competition for jobs there is so fierce it’s almost as bad as America . They are dealing with the same issue of having a ton of college grads but only so many jobs .

1:55 ah yes, corprate communism at it's convenience 🤣
