Ok, 8 yrs passes quickly, but here I go:
Being a Swede like you, grown upp within 30 mins from the town Rättvik, starting to learn to play the fiddle at the age of six, I'm most definitely slightly biased in the question, but to me "Låt till Far" still is one of the most beautiful tunes ever written in our country...!
but... what I really wanted to say was:
    You certainly do it justice

Thank you! I also LOVE this song. I also recorded an electric viola da gamba version with my jazz group, Elysian Fields. The album is called FIKA and it also features other Swedish folk tunes...here is the Spotify link. open.spotify.com/album/0ZpHCGfSZviLLrCNvNcP58?si=C4n8tS9dQE-nUPMYbO5MPg

@@themaraisproject I grew up IN actual Rättvik, not a fiddler myself but folk music is omnipresent here. It's refreshing to hear it with baroque instruments and the different 'cadence' they give it :) Gonna check out the Marais stuff, I love French baroque!

@@HenrikBergpianorganist Thank you! I am Australian myself of Swedish heritage but the arranger of this suite - the lute player in our group - is Swedish. I appreciate very much your comments...

As you might have heard Pers Hans left us only a few days ago. The respect his memory already is being shown among musicians here in Sweden is immense. Really appreciate your version, thanks!

This is such a musical interpretation. The arrangement is beautiful, the instruments are used to fill their function as they should, the performance is beautiful both individually and as a trio. Wonderful, if I could like this multiple times I would. Such understanding for music and talent (whatever you imagine talent is) is not often seen. Bravo
