Thanks for this video. I don’t know much about resins. First time I bought some was a few years ago but couldn’t use it cos there was no directions and I was too scared to try it. Your video was interesting. I admit that I couldn’t take it all in my head. I’ll have to listen too this moire than once to try and understand moist if what you said but that’s not the way you explained things, that’s my brain Ty that has got much slower the last few years due to some medication I was having and I don’t take the pills anymore but my brain hadn’t had full function since I used them. Well that’s what I blame anyway, it could also just be getting older syndrome lol 😂🤣 but I’d rather blame the pills. Im going to watch the video I again later on today.

Hi, thanks for another great video. I wonder if you could help me, what grit level do you use to prep the surface ready for the resin. I have a board approx. 50cm square that I want to flood coat and I am now at the stage to do the final preparation. It is my first attempt at this and I want to get it right.
I usually hit it between 120-240 depending how thick im pouring. Leve some grit to the epoxy to grab onto but not too much so it pokes out from the layer. If you wanna be super safe test on a piece on off cut. Play around with it to learn how it behaves. Do be scared to experiment! You got this!
