+serenavanderful1 i don't believe they would've. annalynne mccord is the one who shot the alternate ending for her and max. it wasn't even the people in who ran the show. that's why i stopped watching the show because i felt like they were going to keep breaking people up just to have drama for good ratings and its funny because that eventually made them lose ratings and the show. they ruined a lot of good couples just to create drama and that kind of lost my interest. i guess they never really planned for the end. so it never seemed there'd be a happy one.

90210 has legit paired EVERYONE with each other. theyve managed to make 13387 different couples out of like 6 ppl..and some actually end up being cute but they ultimately dont last which ruins the whole ''they were meant to be'' concept. navid was good w adriana but then he was also good w silver. they confuse u and leave the show w no epic love. i thought max and naomi were crazy cute and finally there was someone she rly loved..but then came austin..and not gonna lie, i was crazy about austin

They were so adorable together and to me the best couple of 90210 and would have made an ideal couple. But, the writers were busy screwing up their beautiful storyline with nonsense. Actress Annalyne McCord created an alternate ending where she unites with Max. She said ending up with Max was the correct one and hence she created it.

Alternate story line that could've helped Maxomi be endgame: Naomi marries Preston Hillingsbrook and then realizes he only did it for the money and obviously gets a divorce. She´s free and he gets his money so it´s a win-win. Max marries Madison cause even though she´s not Naomi she is a good girl and really, truly deserves better than what happened to her. Then Max hears about Naomis divorce and realizes that he never stopped loving her so he gets a divorce. Max and Naomi get reunited by Silver who was the photographer at Max´s wedding and live happily ever after. The end.
i hated how the wirters ruined Maxomi, really thought it was going to work out for them, i mean she ruined his wedding and he left his fiance for her wich is true love, hope he comes back for the finale.

You are right, they were a great couple. Usually teen shows like the "glam princess loves the nerd" storylines, but the nerd always sort of has to apologize for being a nerd. Max never did. He didn't even want Naomi in beginning. He was who he was and had no need or desire to change. She didn't elevate him or stoop down, they were on par from the start. Awww :-). It's ridiculous they didn't end up together. The show was way too obsessed with a new pairing every week. They should have just stuck with them and come up with storylines.
Beside the chemistry the two of them had,I really loved their love story and yes,I completlely agree with you.It is common in tv show that,when they pair two characters who are different,one of them has too change,usually on the expense of that other,so they could fit well together,and that is what bothers me a lot,I am not a sucker what that kind of love stories,unlike most ppl.But I had my guilty pleasures of course :) So the point of this long comment of mine lol,is that I really loved that Naomi and Max excepted each other for who they are and even respected each others differences.Everyone who watched the show knows how mean and superficial Naomi was at the beginning,maybe less when she met Max,but he wasn't naging her that she must changehe loved her despite that,just like,as you pointed out,she wasn't stoping him either,she encouraged him. They were perfect for each other and also each could thrive in their own careers independently without seeking validation from the other. Would have made a perfect couple with couple of children and a stable family. That would have been my version of their ending. The plot to include Jordan really sucked and the writers made grave mistake of not continuing with the storyline of Naomi and Max. Even the actress(Annalynne McCord) thought that Naomi and Max should be the endgame and hence she created her own alternative ending, where she unites with Max.

i still have this show and GG as one of my best but they could have had a bit more soul by letting this wonderful couple( max and Naomi) end up together just like chuck and Blair and silver and Dickson just like Serena and Dan. 90210 did us a little injustice but the style was on top the drama was good i cannot forget Adriana too.

The 100th episode and the cool episode of Annie being in a comma taking place in an alternate universe with her having not moved to Beverly Hills with Dixon from the beginning, those two episodes would have worked better as 40+ minute movies or specials after the true ending and true last season of this series (season 4 episode 34) !!!!!
The main reason why this show is dwindling for me is because they break up great couples FOR NO REASON (Dixon+Ivy, Navid+Adrianna, Liam+Annie, etc). These two are my favorite because they're diiferent from the rest and I believe they genuinely love each other. Now that Naomi went through all of this to win Max back, the writers CAN'T break them up again. Not after all this. If they do, I'll be livid and very, very angry with them. They're the best couple on the show, they can't break up!
