I lived through battles in a war torn homeland; I only wanted to keep my family safe, but they are gone now. The rebels promised me a chance to escape the war when this was over. I don't trust them, but they were my best chance. They tried to convince me that they cared. But you are correct. They left me here. They don't care. I'm so tired of being used and abused. If you use me like they did, I just might break. And it's hard to break a rebel. I refuse to remain loyal to those who use me for their own ends. So, I suppose I'm not much of a rebel. I just don't want to betray the memory of my family by helping those who caused their deaths. I would sooner die than betray them.

Maybe this is why Qashin doesn’t want us to say anything about High Elf sightings. They seem to spend most of their time in the skies, so they’re pretty elusive. At least, according to the dark elves. Also will we ever get an answer to what happened to the humans in this universe? I’m very intrigued since it’s mentioned several times humans were thought extinct.
It seems that every single character that’s introduced in the DATW universe is an exception to the horrible environment of people in Oceanside, which probably led to the near extinction of most humans. The ones we meet aren’t as cruel, which I’m guessing is a rarity.
In the Blood elf Drink video it is said that the drink is mainly human blood and because The Tall One, the god the blood elves worshipped, hates humans is why i believe he made his followers hunt them till near extinction.

I think my answer will have to be no. As his enemy, my value is in my knowledge and skills, so if I give them to him freely then there is nothing keeping him from going back on everything he said. As I see it there are two main factors at play, is he is lying, and is someone is coming to save us. If he doesn't care and we give in he takes the Intel and has us executed. If we refuse, we extend our life and are more likely to be saved by our people, somehow finished the mission, or escape on our own. If he does care and we accept, we state that our loyalty is easily swayed, so we are a less valuable asset. If we refuse and no one rescues us, then he will be there to act a savior, knowing that we will stay loyal if given something to look forward to.
