Hey girl, I think everyone should have some kind of emergency kit. I have a backpack called Evacu8 and it’s red with those straps that light up, I can’t spell the proper word but hopefully you know what I’m talking about. I bought it online, it has all that cool stuff like emergency blankets, those cute fork spoon things, whistle, ground sheet etc it did have packs of water but they are only good for about 5 yrs so I used those up because they were getting close to the best before date, I can’t replace them because the price has gone really high, and with my back I wouldn’t be able to carry all that weight, I don’t have a car. I have added stuff to it like waterproof bandaid things and the other kind.
My 1 year old granddaughter has strep and she is not a happy camper 😭 she wants to be comforted and held which is exactly what this Nana is happy to do 😊
Omg ! I hate to be sick !! Right now I’m stuck in bed because they think I have a compression fracture in my back ! I’m going crazy !!! Love your hauls & get better soon 😊❤

Sweetheart, this mama will tell you that strep is the hardest illness for adults. I had it at 43 and was in the bed for two weeks, was to the Dr for shots everyday and still thought I was dying for 3 weeks. That green throat spray helped me make it through the days and nights. This is had on adults. As long as you have fewer you will give it to anyone that gets near you. My mom always put clorax in the dish water when I had it, but now we have dishwashers
Those are called sling bags. They are very popular right now. I wear mine shopping so I can be hands free and nobody can grab it out of my cart. Those are awesome. Stephanie, your Christmas tree is Beautiful. Great haul!

A few years ago my face swelled and was red, I had a temperature and the glands in my neck were swollen, the doctor told me it was glandular fever, it was the roughest thing I ever had, my throat felt like I was swallowing razor blades, I was like that for 6 months, but I was much older than you. I hope you don’t feel this way for a long time. Keep safe 🥰
Instead of getting the little fork and spoon set, you could have just bought a pack of disposable spoons and forks from a store like DT along with a roll of paper towels. That's what I keep in my jeep. If you're stranded and only have a can of soup to eat, using your bug-out spoon will make it dirty. Without soap and water, how will you wash it? If you have a pack of disposable spoons from DT, you can simply throw away the used spoon and still have plenty left for next time.

Steph, your lymph nodes are swollen. That's the pain near your neck, and that's why your face is swollen and you're running a fever. Make sure your doctor gives you strong antibiotics and keeps an eye on you. This may be symptoms of something else but I am not a doctor and can't diagnose you. You got somekind of infection running it's course. Could develop in tonsillitis. If you have a small heating pad lay it over your throat on low for a few minutes. The hospital nurses have a trick for healing bad throat. Mix a tablespoon of honey and vinegar diluted in a tall glass of water and drink it slowly. The vinegar is a natural antibiotic that when in a drink can reach the back of the throat. The honey heals tissues inflammation and is also an antibiotic. Hope you get better. I had swollen lymph nodes when I came down with covid back in 2020.
Don’t worry about her getting up Stephanie hope you feel better. I was sick for two weeks and I know exactly how you feel it. Do you get headaches I didn’t have a strep throat like you did but take care of yourself because we’re not getting any younger and I’m 72 years old.
Oh and rest is best when you are sick, I know you feel like you have to be on the go, but rest is best to get well
