Very cool video and nice playing man! Cheers!
Sounds awesome dude. I just enjoy seeing you play! Would you be so gracious to share the tone files of those Archetype: Petrucci presets you're using? Love them!
It's a very good comparison. I have the JP15 and it's an amazing guitar.👏👏
🐐
Thanks for the video dude ! I have a JP6 and a JPXI-7. I think i am more confident and confortable playing the first because the back of the neck is natural finished so it makes moving more efficient and precise. Maybe you feel more confident with the JP15 for the same reason.
So if i had to choose i'd go all in with the JP15 too. Also the Transparent Black finish is gorgeous
Thank you. I used to have a JPXI-7 and it's a great guitar. I don't think it's the neck finish--I now have a JP13-6 and again I find that I am more confident on it than the Majesty despite the fact that the JP13 has a finished neck (although it has the same 17 inch radius and neck profile as the Majesty). You might feel more comfortable on your JP6 because the JPXI has a 20 inch radius and is a 7 string.
@@CarlosFloresLN that's what i used to think but i also have a Jason Richardson 7 and it suits me better than the JPXI-7.
It's an incredible guitar btw. I'm more confortable moving around the neck, especially when it comes to execute slides. My thumb must sweat too much 😂
I think the reason why you like the JP more could be the fact that the bigger body and arm contour feels better with the right leg sit position, bigger point of contact with more stability i noticed looking at your right hand abit more with the majesty.
That sounds plausible! You might be right!
Whats your tone setup here, great video!
Thanks! Just plugged in directly to my computer through my PreSonus interface and then launching Achetype Petrucci in Reaper
Carlito,
I might buy one :( can I play yours? Doin more research.
whenever you want bröther
Which one do you like better?
It is a very difficult choice to make, but I think I slightly prefer the JP15
Which one do you prefer ??
They're both phenomenal guitars. I think it depends a lot on individual preferences. I found the JP15-6 ever so slightly more comfortable to play compared to the Majesty 6. I think the ideal setup is having a JP15 6-string and a Majesty 7-string because the access to the upper frets becomes especially useful in a 7-string guitar. You'll be very happy with either guitar, however.
For me, the majesty can't be beaten on playability and its light weight. That being said, I do prefer the look of JP BFR bodies, and the older Majesties that had satin necks were preferable. The re-issue of the first line of Majesties are the ones to go for imo.
i want a jp15 but why is the sound so thin? 😐
The Illuminator pickups are a little thinner and more harsh than the Dreamcatcher and CrunchLab but they also have more clarity. Nothing that can't be compensated for with EQ.
@@CarlosFloresLNso all the jp15 have these pickups? I want a guitar that sound good from the start i like jp15 and i love they have a piezo hope they update the series soon
@@CarlosFloresLN how is the top
@@BFHPET The top?
@@CarlosFloresLN yes the maple top, i know ebmm makes some good tops but you cant always se it on videoes it looks different in real life
I chose the Majesty, because I wanted an 8 string.
Great choice. Can't go wrong with either option.
@@CarlosFloresLN I'll say this though, if I got another 6 string, I would have a much harder decision. Thanks for the comparison, rock on brother.
you like like an alîen
Thanks bröther
no offense intended...@@CarlosFloresLN
