      Thank you. And thanks for watching the video. I appreciate it! I'm still using that cooling pad actually. Still works pretty well. I don't always turn it on, but it makes the laptop go up high and it just naturally gets air that way too but it still works when I turn it on. I hope yours works well too!

    Great review, quick, simple, and gets to the point. Does it still hold up today?

      Thank you! I still have it and it still works. I don't know how much it cools off the laptop exactly, but I really like that it lifts the laptop up off the desk and even if you don't turn it on it's still getting air.

      I wanted blue but it was an extra week of waiting to get it for some reason. So I just went with red lol

    Is everything ok with the cooling pad up until now? Because i will probably buy this one and i am wondering if it will be good for my laptop. Did you find out if powering it with the laptop's usb port make the laptop run slower and hotter or something?

      Nice vids by the way. They are very useful

      Thanks I appreciate that. It's still working so far. I don't know if it makes the laptop run hotter or anything for sure, I've seen people say it can, and I've seen people say it's not a big difference so I really don't know. I still have mine plugged into a USB 3.0 hub that has its own power, and so far it's fine. The only thing with doing it that way is it doesn't shut off when I power down the laptop, so I have to remember to turn the cooling pad off manually, but it's not that big of a deal. I like the cooling pad so far though.

    Decent video brother 👌. I'm currently shopping for a cooling fan and this was helpful. It's been some time ago so how's it holding up? I personally don't plug in anything directly to my laptop to avoid malware but that's my preference. 😊

      Thank you. I still have it and it still works. I mostly use it just to prop up my laptop so it gets air, but I do sometimes turn it on when I'm doing something demanding. I tend to leave it off for video making and streaming cause the mic can pick up the sound, but even when it does, it's not that bad. Even turned off though, it keeps the laptop up so it gets more air no matter what. Thanks for watching the video!

      @@ulrichfirelord thanks for the clarity of your experience. I'm currently using an eye glass case for more airflow. My concern is when I'm processing videos the laptop gets crazy hot. Especially when I ask it to do too much. Thanks again 😁👍

    How's it going 10 months later? Im looking to replace my current one. Its a couple years old but I had to perform 'surgery' and turn it over to stop the noise it was making.
    I think cleaning the parts also helped too. But it is just one fan.

      It still works. Admittedly I don't turn it on nearly as much as I used too, but it definitely still works and I'm still using it. It just raising the laptop off the table is worth it though. It lets the laptop get a lot of air and there's the added bonus of having the fans if I want to use them.

    Thanks for the demo, question? What effect did it have on the temperature of your computer? 5% 35% 60% what did the test show?

    • @ulrichfirelord
      @ulrichfirelord  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'd say the fans themselves are really only a 5% or maybe even less but where it does really help is it keeps the laptop up off the desk so it naturally just gets air without it even being turned on. That in itself is a huge Plus. Obviously you don't need a stand with fans in it to do that, but the fans do help even if it's just a little bit by a few degrees.

    man you should have said how much is working and so on wtf is this review

    • @ulrichfirelord
      @ulrichfirelord  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well technically it's not really a review Lol. I agree a before and after would have been a nice inclusion. It lowers the temps slightly by a few degrees but it's best feature is raising the laptop off the desk which is super important. You can get laptop stands and some of them cost as much if not more than this cooling pad so the fans are an added bonus to the laptop being raised up to get a lot of air. If you don't get a cooling pad, you should definitely at least get something to raise it up.
