Another very well done review, man!! The performance that this car exudes seems incredible. Also, the confidence that it appears to aspire around corners (and the exhaust note) seem to make the m240i quite compelling. Regarding the T/F question you asked, I'm going to go out on a limb and say "true". 🤞🏽 Keep it up, man!
You said it better than I could my man... I should have you writing my scripts lol 💯 I think it's true as well BUT if i'd choose the m2 because tuning voids the warranty (plus the body flares are siiick) Thanks brother 🙏
😅✌🏽 lol Also, I totally understand where you're coming from. The M2 wouldn't really require any further tuning, while the m240i might spark the urge to tune it up a bit. But, yes!! Those body flares are siiick on the M2 🙌🏽💯
Great video, but the engine is abit different than the m3&m4 engine, this has a b58, same as supra, 340i, 440i etc, the m3& m4 of that gen have s55. I personally prefer the b58
This definitely is a fun car to drive. I recently returned a 6-speed manual version after a 2 year lease. I would have kept it if it wasn't for one issue that my back couldn't tolerate.. It's subtle but if you look closely, you can see that the driver's seat is not centered to the steering wheel. BMW's fix for this was to slightly angle the driver's seat towards the left front headlight to give the illusion of being centered. Driving around town was not a problem, but long trips were impossible. Sitting twisted for hours gave me lower back sciatica for the first time in my life. Jason Cammisa addressed this same issue years ago in one of the small M cars.
That's a really good point! It would've been great to cover this but I wouldn't know where to find a detail like that haha. I'm sure prospective shoppers would appreciate your insight when considering to buy
I'd agree, I'm somewhere in the middle on it. Thanks bro it's the Rode Wireless GO with Purple Panda lavalier mic Thatll be awesome! I'd have to schedule it out
Constructive criticism. Please allow us to hear how much you love it, but see more of where you aredriving. I would have loved to see the "shotgun" P.O.V. of more of the curves, rather than seeing you react to how much you enjoyed it.
Just bought one, the coupe version. I'm completely in love with the car!
I don't blame yah brotha! I fell in love in the short 3-hours that I was reviewing it. Is it stick shift??
@@gsgcarreviews I wish! Hard to get manual M240’s here. But auto is still a great drive.
Just picked up 2021 m240i xdrive hardly any reviews of it. Thanks for the video!! Car looks sick. Mine is being delivered next week.
Congratulations! I bet you been having fun with it by now
It’s crazy that the convertible with xdrive is almost 4000lb. I have a 2018 hardtop xdrive and it’s 3660lb
Respect on how you respond to these negative ppl in the comments, solid review
Appreciate you brother 🤟

i love the passion on the reactions
Appreciated!
I picked mine up earlier this year. Coupe RWD. Love it!
Oh I bet! Did you get stick shift??

I'm with you on that 💯
Got the coupe and love it!
Did you go all out and get the manual?
No I got the automatic and use the paddles when I want
Nice video mate really considering to buy this as my new car and just been wanting to see a good review and you done it perfect
Great choice! It's a special car and I'm glad you got value out of the video!

Okay, that's a big statement! Hey brother what are you using for your audio? Its killer brother. If you get to norcal you can review my GT4,
I'd agree, I'm somewhere in the middle on it. Thanks bro it's the Rode Wireless GO with Purple Panda lavalier mic
Thatll be awesome! I'd have to schedule it out
@@gsgcarreviews We can always meet in the middle, plenty of roads on Highway 1
What would you say about the soft top vs hard top?
Haven't tried the hardtop yet but frankly the vert proved solid. I can imagine the color handles better
Dont forget to add the wider track and fenders to make it look and handle better than an M2 🤔
True that!

True it's pretty hard solo so I'll try to bring someone along
Is it true that BMW will discontinue the 2 series convertible? That'd be HUGE shame.
They may but I'm not sure. Last I've read they created an electric version of the car!
Yea, that’s true.
What about 235 ?
I haven't driven that yet!
5 seconds into the vid..... " thats LA crest hwy"
That's a fact!
It does not have the same motor as the m3 like you mentioned.
Nope but an up-tune would make it equivalent
@@gsgcarreviews Well its 2 different engine..The m240 is using the b58 and m3 s55.
@@samclasik Nevetheless I didn't ask if they are the same engine. I asked if an tune would make it faster than the m2, would you say yes or no?
@@gsgcarreviews We are talking m240 vs m3 buddy.
Im going to True because AWD.
Right on!!
Id say true
Same bro bro
Fix your audio
Roger that!
The car actually has 6 driving modes:
Eco
Comfort
Sport
Sport+
Traction
DSC off
Glad you were paying attention haha thanks for the correction 🤙
M140i is way cooler 😙 The m240i is a wannabe m2
I'm yet to drive the m140, I'm sure it's a hell of a drive
Nah the M140i looks kinda booty and the m240i xdrive is faster than the m2 in a 0-60
@@alecddaniels the m140i xDrive can also do that
@@alecddaniels I'm with you M240i all blacked out has a way better look imo!✌
nice car, terrible reviewer, worst camera shots
Thanks for the engagement 👍
Why don’t you try it and let’s see who has worst camera shots and terrible reviewer and at least he actually trying and has subscribers
